In my experience clear strap heels are sturdiest. Colored straps from Pleaser will peel after use. Any heel that isn’t the standard clear strap (fancy ones) will always so wear faster or even break. You should always look for a reinforcement tab where the heel connects. Personally I prefer Ellie heels because they use material reinforcement tabs instead of thin plastic. And Veena had some great tips on how to keep heels nice.

Omg Veena that is the best advise! In all my years I have never heard of putting packing tape on the rubber for carpet!!! I don’t pole at home now because of the carpet/ heels issue. I’m so trying this tonight!

Hi, this is Tiffany Hayden owner and sole operator of Glitter Heels. Im happy that everyone loves their Glitter Heels, I put so much love and effort into every pair. As was said earlier I have been very ill this year and have spent months in the hospital. This has unfortunately held up some orders and for this I do apologize. For the last 5 years with Glitter Heels I have been the only person running this business so I have also been experiencing some growing pains because so many ladies around the world love Glitter Heels so much. I am handling these issues now and plan to have 1-2 week turnaround times starting next month. Thank you to everyone who has helped Glitter Heels grow and have had patience during wait times. I would love to learn but will NEVER ever try more than once to do the knee hang! I know audiences love it and it looks so cool but it is so painful on your bottom knee that I just refuse to dedicate time to learn it:(

I have been dancing for 12 years and my favorite quality stiletto is Ellie. They are amazing quality and I have never had a heel or strap break. I use them for Glitter Heels and over the last 3 years and thousands if orders only 1 strap has ever broke. They also have really nice padded soles, haha, even my Mom recently said wow they are so padded, no wonder you love dancing in them!
