    OH BOY! 100 days uh!

Can we have our own survivor series please.

-to be more flexible -work on 1 hr stretching 3 x per wk

    -to obtain my splits

-to do pole 3 to 6 hrs per wk (this wk I did 4.5 hrs) & stretching nil (don't like stretching)

-mmm…I already walk pretty much 10km's per day with my dog

-to point my toes and not get cramps

I haven't read the whole thread and if this is repeat info. then I apologize.

This is just a maybe and fyi that for me amoxicillin causes me to have a yeast infection. The reoccurance may be due to the antibiotic prescribed.

I don't know of any other antibiotics that does cause yeast infections other than amoxil.

What my trainer had me do to target belly fat or reduce my waistline is to do many squats & lunges and when that got easy he added wts to those two. Unbelievably that has reduced my waistline.  The rationale behind that is that large muscles are being used and during these work outs that these large muscles need the O2. (KREB cycle)…anyways, Moved on to kettle bell that help all around toning.

I also walk my dog approx. 7 to 10km /day. I try to pole at least 3hrs a wk. Progess for me pole wise seems to be very slow.

As for food well, I eat meat, fruit & veggies (almost paleo) except in the morning I have spelt/ creme of wheat concoction. (nutmeg, cinamon, a fruit ) cook in microwave. I then add 1 scoop of protein and 3 tsp of chia seeds. I do drink coffee approx 3 cups per day/ and water and some juices 'not from concentrate'- no pretend juice-. I don't drink pop at all if I do it is soda water with lemon.

People do well on gluten free foods. I don't think people were meant to eat so much carbs. What carbs do is that it increases the melatonine in your brain and so this is why after a meal with carbs that one feels so lethargic and want to relax.

I am still trying to get nice abs …don't know if I will as I too had 2 kids.

I am realizing that it is alot of work to be me… LOL

I don't know which Valentino's DVD you have but I have the first two and so, thinking they may have improved.

They are good stretches but their cues on it suck.

I find Alethea's dvd's as well are very good but they suck for cueing you.

i.e. your holding a pose or something and when you look at the dvd they are onto something else.

To be aka "instructor' of that caliber you need to cue your invisible audience, count, hold , count 2 more and release type thing.

Perhaps I am harsh but disappointed at the dvd's.

I had strugled with the chopper for the longest time until one day I tried it on the other side and then got it on my first attempt on my 'wrong side' . I don't get that…lol Anyways, I had to then unlearn my mistakes from the original side.

I think it's quite accurate b/c a few months back there was an article that pole fitness came second to a sport which the activity evades me at this time but, it's running up walls, over fences, roof tops and so forth. Crossfit was placed 4th.

I researched crossfit and they said that one burns approx 800 cal. in a work out b/c you continue to burn calories post intense activity.

Pole is intense and so, I think it is quite accurate.
