The ceiling is level and I know where the joists are, and I’m not going to be upset at all if anything happens with the artex. I can’t stand the stuff, a complete pain in the rear to paint. It was my concern was, is the artex going to make the x pole insecure?
And from what everyone has said it should be fine.

I want to get the x-pole titanium gold, however that is a little more expensive that the crome x-pole. A lot will depend if I get a bonus.
It seams the x-pole is one of or the best so seing as I have a lot of weight I want to get a pole that will hold me, even though my good intention is to get lighter https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

I think I try that with the ply, well a piece of wood flooring that I have left from an off cut. I think that will be just as effective
