I thought I had posted a reply to this already but obviously it didnt save! Hmph!
The studio where I take lessons was supposed to be hosting a Pole competition but its really in joepardy now because they dont have enough competitors. The owners spent a long time negotiating with the venue, D.J. etc only to find that they dont have enough people to compete in the actual competition. A lot of members of the studio said they would be interested in competing but when it came down to actually committing to doing it a lot of them changed their minds for various reasons. (Not that I have anything against people changing their minds, thats their prerogative and I totally understand!)
So basically what Im saying is, try to get a list of names of people who are genuinely interested in competing and then take it from there.

Omg she was only on the pole for a few mins at best and barely moved while she was on it and like yogabeachbabe said, it seems like she was only using the pole as support. Perhaps its the little rebel in her that made her decide to use a pole in her performance or perhaps the decision was made for her! Nobody knows…

I am a student in a Pole Studio and my studio wanted to host a competition and had negotiated with the club over fees, insurance, etc and had put a lot of work into the comp only to discover that they didnt have enough competitors! See, loads of the students said they’d enter the competition but when it came to the crunch, a lot of them decided against it for various reasons. I totally respect the fact that people have concerns about entering a pole comp but I thought Id just give you the heads up so that you get definate names on the list before you go booking or paying out for venue, fees, DJ, etc. Also there were some girls who had worked hard at putting together a routine for the comp and now that its cancelled those girls might feel like they’ve wasted their time! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif

Veena Im so happy to have had the pleasure of getting to know you over the last 9 months or so . Your site is wonderful, I love the atmosphere that you and Webmaster have created here. When I tell people about the site they’re fascinated about what a unique, friendly place it is. I have been known to turn down invitations to parties, meals, outing, etc. just so I can come to Fiday chats cause they’re SOOOO much fun! I have learned so much as a pole dancer since joining this site and Ive gotten to know some of the most wonderful people here and for that I am eternally grateful! As I said on youtube,
