cali Ive always tried not to takes sides in this kind of situation. That being said, I know you love your husband but he sounds very immature and quite selfish. I dont mean to be mean but if he’s not willing to work on your marriage then he’s not worth it. You shouldnt have to put up with someone repeatedly cheating on you! That’s awful! You are so young, you have your whole life ahead of you and your kid’s lives too I might add. It will be extremely hard at first but you will get through it. Your husband cant just come and go as he pleases and expect you or your kids to be okay with it. If he wants to go, let him go, you shouldnt have to beg him to stay for you or your kids. Foxy-Rei is right, try not to argue in front of your children. My parents split up when I was 12 but they should have slpit up long before that. They argued constantly infront of my brothers and I and we hated it! I wanted my parents to split up beacuse I knew if they did at least they wouldnt be living together 24/7 and fighting all the time!
Im sorry if Ive offended you by speaking ill of your husband but from what you’ve said about him I dont know if a beautiful, kind, caring girl like you should have to put up with that kind of treatment. -

Ive always wanted to be a dancer in a club but Derm (my bf) would be extremely uncomfortable with it so I doubt that I’ll ever get the chance! You should definately go for it! I wish you the best of luck with your audition and if by some chance something does go wrong, giggle it off and keep going. Try not to freeze up and run off the stage bawling, I dont think that would bode well with the manager. I really wana help you because these two moves eluded me for a long time too. I only got Superman about a month ago and getting into it still isnt as elegant as Id like. I only finally go the knee hold last week and it still hurts!! Im reeeeeeeeally CRAP at expaining moves in writing but I’ll give it a shot! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif
Ok Superman. I do it from gemini and when I get to the flip position I keep one leg kind of static and I move the other leg. I do a ‘knee to nose’ type movement with the leg and tilt my body over at the same time. If you cant get it all in one motion try doing a few ‘knee to nose’ movements til you finally get there. (Told you Im crap at explaining stuff!!) I would love to see a video if you have one…
Knee Hold: I have my top leg behind my bottom leg, therefore my bottom leg is at the front and my top leg is at the back. I dunno if theres a right or wrong way but I usually do whatever works at the time. The main thing is to PUSH those hips forward, this will tighten the grip of your top leg and I feel it kinda more evenly distributes the weight between my knees. Its kinda scary letting go first cause I used to fall forward a little but thats cause I rushed it each time Id be letting go. Now I take it a little slower each time. I posted a knee hold video on the site here if you wana check it out. Its my first time ever getting it so it show exactly what I did.

I echo what Sascha said, if worst comes to worst dont feel that he’s the only thing going for you. You have two beautiful kids who love you and need you. You have your pole to vent your frustration with and you have us! We will listen to you and try to help you in any way we can.

OMG Cali, u poor thing. Is he willing to sit down and have a rational converstion about this? U need to have a rational discussion! Divorce is a big step. Perhaps you could discuss having some sort of trial separation first… Would he consider a marriage counsellor or a mediator so you could have a proper conversation about this. I hate to be one of those awful people putting ideas into your head but have you asked him is there someone else?

Jacq, Ive read the whole forum and I dont think you really truly want to go. Im just getting negative vibes from you. If you really dont want to go you’re gonna have to tell the hubby that you dont. Perhaps Im wrong now, I dunno.
If you think you kinda do wana go you should actually take the option to go!!! Hey if you dont like it you can leave whenever you want right? I know you’ll have spent money to get in in the first place but hey what’s a few dollars compaired to your comfort and sense of well-being. Everyone that said you need to have set boundaries is totally right. If you discuss it before you go then both of u know where the other person stands. U need to tell him that if you decide you dont like it and want to leave, you both have to leave…together!
I have the opposite problem with Derm. He doesnt want me to go to a club with him because I think he feels like ill end up talking to the girls and exchanging numbers and talking ‘girly mush’!! I dont mind him going to strip clubs at all just as long as he tells me exactly what the club, girls, bar, drinks, patronage were like. I dont wana be hearing from someone besides him that he had some girls lady business in his face or something!!! :L So as long as Im ‘in the know’ I dont mind at all. Men like to look at naked girls. Fact. Its not like he’s gonna marry them. And I dont mind him getting a lap dance cause I know the girl who’s doing it isnt doing it coz she loves him or wants to marry him, she’s doing it to earn money. Its purely a job!
