And just because HE won’t go to counseling doesn’t mean TOU can’t go. Please take care if your own mental health. If you are not able to take care if yourself it’s almost impossible to care and support anyone else. Remember, we are your pole family and we are here to listen and support you, too.

I’m sorry you are hurting. I hope you find comfort in the wonderful memories of Toby.

Cali, I just sent you a PM. ๐

Beachbabe is right. It will be ohsolovely hot outside, but the AC in most places is so high it's like walking into a freezer. I always keep a sweater in my car to grab if I'm heading into a casino or store. Even the grocery store or Walgreens! You'll see quite the variety of dress (or undress) but in Vegas it's better to be over-dressed than under-dressed. Remember we're gonna dance hard, so let's play hard too! can't go wrong with glitter and sparkle! ๐

Shine Alternative Fitness! West side of the strip off the 215 freeway. Dima runs it and he's a former Cirque guy. If you want closer to town and a "polebrity" then hit up Pole Fitness Studio, right across the street from The Palms. This is Fawnia's studio and our true pioneer of pole. Both studios offer a wide variety of classes for the true poler. There are several other studios, but most try to capitalize on the "pole party" business. Make sure you hunt Veena down and get a hug from here. She's a Vegas local now! I'll be there during that time, too. Call or text if you'd like to meet up and enjoy some play time or have a coffee/cocktail. 702-339-0330.

Agreed that rigging them would be your safest bet. Robert will work with you to get the best product to suit your needs.

I run PoleNation.com and it's been a labor of love! It's really hard to keep up with the studios out there. Especially sad when they close…. ๐ It does NOT include studios who do aerial but not pole.

Agreed! Choreography is wonderful for all levels, as is Pole Essence. Those are the MUST classes. You will gain pearls of wisdom from both the Intermediate and Advanced, but make sure you truly are ready for them. If for any reason you don't feel you are, audit the class(es) and just watch, as her knowledge is wonderful.

What workshop are you going to take? She is a really wonderful woman and I have taken several workshops from her, as she travels to Vegas often (and is going to work with Fawnia regularly now!) and has offered many different classes.

I have a student who just a few months ago had the same problem! I figured it was a fluke! EEK! I have worn Anthony's (and their sister shoes Tony's) for many years and have always been happy as well.

There are quite a few studios in the Philly area that are good. Would she be willing to head into the city? Otherwise Diamond Angels has a studio in Haddonfield NJ I believe. Not sure how close that would ne for her though…

Oh how I love Shine!! The facility is wonderful and the instructors are diverse and well respected in their industry. Can’t go wrong with classes at Shine.
