I just wanted to report that after 2 1/2 weeks of rest, I can chopper. IT AIN’T PRETTY but that’s what time and practice is for! It seems that I just really needed the rest.

Thanks to everybody who helped out and Happy New Year!

I’m pretty sure I’ve watched them but it doesn’t hurt to have a refresher!

I’m currently taking time off since I stressed my back pretty badly constantly attempting a deadlift v or even a tuck, but I’ll do my best to remember to do a video some time, asap.

It’s just so weird to me that we’re excited to know how to do this with no formal instruction on how. And since all the routines are doing Gemini and Scorpio and switches, there’s a lot of down time where I’m not doing anything because i don’t want to screw up my back more.

I understand what’s supposed to happen but when I tuck up I feel like I have a heavy butt which is not the case when I attempt shoulder mount.

seconding a request! I was just taught this Tuesday and I need some more ideas of how to do it well, specifically one handed if you are going to do variations. I think my problem is overthinking it, but seeing more than one way to do it always helps me out! ~

It’s been great! He always tries his best and works hard and is super supportive beside. We’d been looking for something active to do together and he has so much respect for how much strength it takes and how effortless people make it look!

Heh, hey there. My husband poles with me as well. It’s always a great time together. But yeah, as it’s been said, the standing on toes isn’t just for being pretty or looking dainty. It helps you get more height when doing holds and tricks, strengthens your legs (never skip leg day), and balance, which is of course, part of the core.

He has no issue with being up on his toes, but after taking shotokan karate and having had flexed feet beaten into him, he’s always being reminded to point in class. XD

lordy lord the discussion on there, you have the patience of a saint. XD

Buuuut I feel exactly the way you do on the topic. I am actually unnerved by people who feel the need to constantly downplay or discourage the idea of women doing anything sensual or exploring their sensuality. I have a lot of feelings and thoughts on this whole subject, really.
