Thanks so much Veena and Runemist34 I have had to take a few days off due to injuries but will definitely try both the 30 day take off as well as those videos. I’ll post a video when I get closer to getting it, hopefully soon!

Thank you Veena! I’m new to your lessons so I might do that! I’ve been doing the 30 day takeoff but it’s very easy given I’m already inverting. (Amazing foundation though, I wish I’d found you sooner and had done this alongside my beginner course right from the start!). I really only have time to do one hour a day at home in addition to my pole classes (3 x a week). Would you recommend skipping the 30 day takeoff and going straight to this?

I’m having problems with this too! I’ve been trying for over 2 months now and I just can’t even get the tuck invert. I know mentally what my body is supposed to do, but it just wont do it! I can tip into it and hold on if a spotter puts a hand on my bum and tips me lightly into position, but I can’t do it unassisted. It’s driving me nuts!

I have done two terms in a studio class and privates and I feel like they are both good, but I really progressed so much more in the private lesson. I think for beginners learning spins and things lessons are a fun way to do it because everyone has fun and it’s not too serious, but when you get up to more intermediate levels in classes, I found it gets more “serious” and with those really tough moves it can feel really deflating when 2 or 3 girls get it right away and you are still struggling (first hand experience there!). I think, ideal would be a class for beginner, then some privates on the side to nail tricks or things you’re not getting in class. But if you can’t do both for money or time reasons, and you’re beyond beginner, I’d go with private lessons.
