I love my Diva cup, I have used it for a couple of years now. It did take some getting used to though and I had a few accidents when I did get it in right but now that never happens.
Mechie: doing a dry run is different from a real use. For one thing you are more moist during your period and that will help inserting and taking it out. I grab a hold of the base of the cup, push it together a bit and then pull out. At the end of my period it is more uncomfortable to take it out due to lack of natural lubricant.
I twist mine a bit after insertion but I hold the base of the cup. That will also be easier when you use it for real, more lube 🙂
Don't know about the stem, I have mine long and no discomfort. I know of ladies that has trimmed it with a razor close to the base, but that is only if you don't want any stem at all.
Good luck!

Good to know I'm not alone 🙂 I hope Webmaster can work his magic and fix it 🙂

No, but it is one of my biggest worries! Note to self, no more loose hair while poleing!

I'm in the progress of doing my first choreography and all these advice are really helpful!
I find it a bit difficult to watch routines on say YouTube because they are way more advanced than I am and then I feel discourage because I can't do half the stuff they do.
I have a song and have written down a lot of things I want to do, may add and/or subtract a few and also need to work on transitions but I feel it is a good start. I'll let you know how it goes 🙂

Being quite large in the breast area, UK 28G, finding bras is a hassle. Thankfully Change has opened in Stockholm and they have a few, but sadly I am used to wearing badly fitting support.
I have also discovered a new problem with stretching. We do Swan rockings to prepare for chest stand and well.. I have a bump in the road so to speak. Not comfortable at all to rock over my assets and I am a bit worried about trying the chest stand 🙂

I don't do yoga but I do a stretch routine every morning. I set the clock half an hour earlier than I would need and get into it. Takes 30-40 mins and is a great way to start the day.
As for a yoga routine, check the books and videos. Start with a little, just the Sun salutations a few times and then add more as you go along. If you do too much it is easy to get discourage. I started my morning stretch routine with only two stretches and 10 mins.
I hope you get into it! 🙂

I've a cold coming (must have been the snow this morning :P) so I'll pass. Hope you have fun and be flexible!

Congrats! Now we want pics https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cool.gif
We've just started working on it in class and I am still at the "are my feet supposed to meet?" stage, along with horrid bruising.

My worst fall (so far) was while practicing Star. I tried it with my ballet slippers on and got up all right. One foot on pole, one hand on pole, starting to push hips forward and arching my back when my lower foot slid back. I still held on with my hand and knee so I banged my rips in the pole and lost my breath for a while.
Lesson: do not do Star with ballet slippers.
I also fell the first time I managed the Advanced plank but that was because I got so happy I got it that I forgot to hold on 🙂

Thanks! Well, I was asleep shortly after nine so maybe next week when I feel a bit more normal 🙂

Hi all! Back from my adventures 🙂
I'¨ll try and make it tonight, depends on if my jetlag is better or not. I tend to be quite tired very soon.

I'm in! After three weeks with no pole it won't be that hard 😉
