I use a spare bedroom for my pole, and, I found a lot of huge mirrors on Craigslist and in the trash when the hospital was renovated lol. Free is always good!

I have started using elbow guards from drugstore which help to prevent bruises on my fore and upper arms.

I have had electrolysis, laser hair removal and wax. The electrolysis is expensive, time-consuming and painful, but permanent. The wax just hurt too much. Laser is expensive and most of mine grew back. I took 5 treatments all over, and 3/4 of it grew back. They say you have to continue tx. Would not do again, it was also painful. Maybe the tx are better now, that was 6 yrs ago.

That is very helpful, thanks! For me, sounds like chrome would be great…

I am thinking about buying a different type of pole, I currently have a ss but I want brass or chrome, due to chronically sweaty hands. My grip is ok at first on the ss, but I lose it quickly as I get warm. Grip aids and fans do not work. Which would you guys recommend, brass or chrome? Thanks

I just made the mistake of moisturizing my hair with coconut oil prior to working out. I have a ss pole, and absolutely no grip. I have sweaty hands anyway, and am thinking about switching to a brass pole. Is that the preferred material?
