Maybe we should have a weekly or bi-weekly discussion post where people can post what days & times they will be available for chat on here?
Would have to decide on a shared Time standard like GMT so I don’t get all mixed up.

How long ago did you contact them?
You hopefully did not mention you use steel chainmail gloves for extra grip? 🙂

X-pole should have some explanation. Chrome is fairly tough normally which is why it used to be used on car bumpers. It also should not rust from the outside any more than powder-coated. My Chrome pole is five years old and has no rust on it even with it mainly being in SW Florida which is extremely humid.

Did you check your actual speed? There is a lot of throttling especially with Uploads. People often do not realize how slow their upload speed is especially when they have fast download speeds. At the least it will help figure out the issue you are having. You must have something going on as other people do not have an issue with uploading videos.

    Could check your Internet speed:

Note especially the upload speed. Below 500 Kb/s is slow. Above 1000 is good.

I hit my head a lot. (Explains the brain damage) My ceiling’s only 8 foot. Thinking about a pole for the garage. But like in Veena’s climb lesson, sliding down does work fine for training purposes. In some ways doing that helps more, which I notice when I get on a taller pole.

    Spoke with Randy today.
Had to take it apart. Did get to learn how it works! Evidently the bushings inside the main pipe are too close together. The inner bushing should be inserted another several inches in. They will send me a tool and another bushing. Sounds pretty easy to fix when it gets hear.
Only took less than five minutes to take apart and find the issue. Seemed like very nice people and quick to get assistance.

Amazing website & community! Being six years old and growing shows a lot.

Hate to complain (but that’s me!) but why are you giving us a gift? Shouldn’t we be giving you something. After all, six years of not only great lessons, discussions & videos at a more than reasonable cost but awesome support and encouragement to all of us working towards our individual goals.
    Happy Birthday!

This feels like there is definite play between the two tubes no matter where or how you grab the pole with little effort. One finger can make it vibrate. Not an occasional anything. It seems like the threads don’t match well at all. That is why I don’t feel perfectly comfortable with it.
The mount on the top and the adjuster attached to it are solid as is the bottom.

I have a Rollerball which I think is the same thing. Don’t remember where I got it from. Don’t use it anymore.
First person to send me a mailing address can have it.

I was very careful what I ate for the last thirty years. Not exactly paleo because I did eat some whole grain foods & others but close to it. Just tried to eat healthy, never following any specific diet.

Unfortunately a few years ago was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease (not caused by diet) which has gotten worse the last couple of years as not responding well to medicines. My diet for almost the past year was cottage cheese, plain yogurt, soft-boiled eggs, bottles of boost/ensure, protein shakes, ripe bananas. That was it. Just a few weeks ago was allowed to add back other foods although have found some I still cannot tolerate. Somewhat funny that the GI doctors recommend avoiding a lot of “healthy foods” and stay with processed foods because of my Crohn’s. Have to switch to a new med and hoping it works with no side-effects. Had to stop the last med as the effects caused other problems which also kept me off the pole or any exercise.

What I have learned (including Nutrition training after my Person Trainer cert) over the years is its not really important to follow a specific diet. Its what is healthy & works for Yourself. What is a good, healthy, easy-to-follow diet for one person will not work for another. Some people need more protein and some need much less. Fats & carbs are IMPORTANT to a diet, not to be avoided totally. The amounts again are different for each. Whole grains are good, just not for Crohn’s.
What often happens with the different branded diets comes down to one thing: watching what you eat. Its usually not the diet itself but that people are looking at the foods and amounts they eat while avoiding foods they should not eat. This does not apply to the McDonald’s Super Size meal diet 🙂
Of course, for weight loss, it should be diet as well as exercise. Look at all the diet infomercials and the fine print is: AND EXERCISE.

Now that I can try other foods, have had pizza three times, chicken hot dogs twice so eating to enjoy and not what’s healthy. A hamburger (one of my three favorites) caused issues but enjoying what food I can for now. Healthy eating has a different meaning for each of us. This weekend gonna get another cheese pizza!

This is actually a fairly common problem not just for pole. Gaffer’s tape (not duct tape) or wig tape works real well. Always keep both in my camera bag.

Gaffer’s tape is very sticky so removing the adhesive needs alcohol, baby oil or wd40 I also carry.
Wig tape you need to make sure the skin is clean then it will stick real good. Use it often for bodybuilder shoots where they have tan spray or posing oils and have to clean the skin before or wig tape won’t stick.
