    hiya,

    What i do is do the CAR, the twist my body around so my arms are in the flagpole position, then just kinda slide myself into the brass monkey.

    Hiya,

    i was just playing with this move today!!

    what i usually do is a foot lock (thats what we call it in nz, not sure if its the same where you are??) and pull myself up into a seat.

    so..

    using the leg thats not hooked on the pole, hook your foot around the pole and pull up, grab with your hands and sit!!

    Hiya glitterhips,

    The reason that you lose momentum is because the further away from the pole your body is, the slower you’ll go. So regardless of how much you throw yourself into it, you will always slow down once you do the open V. The only thing I can recommend to keep the spin is to maybe do a variation of Aysha, perhaps just pull your legs down, rather than out, to keep your momentum going.
