i actually found the 6 week guide as well…i’m starting my 2nd week today and i can already tell a difference in my splits. I’m super stoked about it! I follow his intructions more closely however…i don’t do the visualizations either…or the cooldown. (Does the cooldown really help??) But seriously warming up helps so much (another reason why girl’s have mentioned hottub stretching). I really wish i would have measured before i started but i was so excited that i didn’t… i need to go home tonight and measure where i am after a week of doing it. i have a pic from a few months ago when i quit my splits stretches (b4 six week guide)…so maybe i’ll post that and a pic of where i am now.. =)
p.s. about the leg raise stretch, i can’t seem to keep my leg straight long enough for it to help me…i shake alot in that one and since there is no force against my leg, its harder to keep it there. I’m still going to do them though and see if it gets better

The injury is so true… funny irony…my first pole teacher taught to kick and she was practicing while in class one day and injured herself do a kick invert. It wasn’t funny that she injured herself…just that its shows how the correct way is the only way. =) good luck! you’ll get there!!

You could do the fishflop! I think that would be fine even for beginners. Maybe the trucker girl and some slides outward and the clock thing with your legs in the air. If you can just teach a few moves then that should be enough…if its for 3-5 minutes then its kind of silly of them to expect you to do a pole routine without a pole!!!! Surely they’ll think the vids are enough!! Good luck girl!!

Yea my first thought was flax seeds when she told me about them. They aren’t supossed to have a flavor though. I just thought it would be good in sauces/dressings since they are so bad for you. I can’t eat a dry salad =) Any little bit helps. I’ve changed my lettuce from only eating iceberg to eating spinach leaves and some romaine and sprouts…i grow my own sprouts. Trying to implement healthy things everywhere i can =)

Yea the hardest part for exercising, i think, is changing it up after you actually find something that works…so that your body doesn’t get used to it. That or trying something new and not feeling like its helping so you try something else. i know i really need help in the diet department but i also know i need to explore the exercises too.
