If you have small hands, the 40mm is perfect for you! I have a 40mm brass xpert and it's perfect! A little hard on knee and thigh holds though since it will require extra effort. But other than that, I love it!

Hello Everyone!
Just wanted to give you an update on my pole dilemma.
After talking to X-Pole Tech, I was emailed by Clive Coote, Managing Director of X-pol UK and he was very accommodating. He forwarded my concern to Sarah Shen, Managing Director of X-pole Asia. We exchanged emails and I took pictures of my pole and gave her details of my concern. Like Clive, she was very accommodating and willing to help.
Finally she emailed me to try forcing the adjuster cover and if any part was damaged due to this, she will replace them. So with the help of my friends, we were able to remove the adjuster cover. However, my A pole was damaged, the O-ring destroyed, deep scratches on the pole, and the adjuster cover didn't fit well anymore (see photos from the link below).

With that, she replaced my whole A-pole free of charge. She got my shipping details and she sent the part (together with a 750mm extension I purchased from her), free of shipping!
Just got it today.

Props to Xpole UK's Clive Coote and Xpole Asia's Sarah Shen for giving excellent customer support. I really was resigned to the fact that my pole was forever damaged (which was sad because it's just 3 months old). But thanks for helping me out a!d providing great customer care! I'm so glad I bought an Xpole! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Last night, we were able to remove the adjuster cover from the top where the screws are…
http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b84/rakelcutie/IMG-20120729-00062.jpg
Now as you can see the lower half of the adjuster cover's stuck. The other side's over tightened. while the other has a small amount of space.
NO SPACE:

SMALL ALLOWANCE OF SPACE:

I'm frustrated coz I spent a good hour trying to figure out how to loosen it. 🙁
Would appreciate feedback https://www.studioveena.com/users/view/4f47f705-f24c-4207-82cd-13870ac37250
Thanks in Advance!

i think it's called an inverted lotus.

Try doing controlled boomerangs. Meaning when doing your boomerang, do it slowly lifting your leg straight from the side (not tucking your knees when going in to the move). then hold it for 3-5 seconds. Then after that, slowly lower your legs, engaging your lower abs. The objective is to dismount slowly and land softly.

My 100-day challenge goals are:
1. right and left square split
2. develop my lower abs.
3. controlled inverts both floor and aerial
4. a more bendy back (for dove and crescent).
5. lose 10lbs.
6. do cardio workout to increase stamina.
7. pole twice a week with pole practice, also twice a week. (Learn how to do moves in spinning pole)
8. cleaner tricks and longer spins.
9. learn at least 2 new transition moves a week.
10. do at least 1 freestyle exercise a week.
so help me God. 🙂

I think the 40mm brass xpert isn't available yet in the UK and US. Only Australia and certain distributors in Asia are carrying it.
I bought mine from groove studio in Singapore.

Just got my 40mm brass xpole. the first thing i did was wipe it with acetone. then i rubbed it with metal polish to remove the slippery coating and it worked wonders!
