I will usually pull up and take advantage of the deep knee grip into a remi sit.

Yes good thing to ask about the latex!! Good to know!!

Yeah the griptease costs a few hundred $ to ship back and forth to Australia, plus about $300 for the griptease itself. So all together about $1000…not sure what the material is.

@AerialGypsy thats very possible! The brass is quite grippy. I learned a little technique from Victor when I met him at PPO to help put the sleeve on easier by making little air pockets when you are sliding it on. If you just try to pull it, it will be like a chinese finger trap. LOL

Here's another from the creator of POLE SLEEVES. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Je9_9ExZZxw

I installed mine without an air source – and it didn;t take more than 5 min. Was pretty simple 🙂

It's a rubber based material about 5mm thick (so overall will add 10mm to your pole diameter)…but with the added grip and padding, you dont even notice that its thicker. I put one on my 38mm and 45mm. So far I am LOVING it for photo shoots and strength training. My pole set up at home was not great for "dancing" anyway, so I figure this was a great alternative to get some better use out of my pole for strength training 🙂

I have a few friends who competed/performed recently and had some amazing routines, but unfortunately on video and camera, they looked like Casper the Friendly Ghost all covered in chalky powder LOLOL
