I’m already hooked….LOL. I watch pole videos every night and study them. I’m saving for a pole. Once I have a pole I will be unstoppable (evil snicker.)

I am new here and my first class is tomorrow, but I have a trick that works with other creative pursuits. Its sort of like a game with index cards. Make a few decks of cards. One deck is poses, one deck is attitudes or emotions. You can also make a deck with floor moves. Choose one card from each deck. Lets say you get “sad,” “flag” and “blank floor move.” (Sorry, I don’t know the names of anything yet.) Your challenge is to move from the floor move to the position in a sad way. You can pick over and over and get different results. The more cards, the more possibilities. You could also do double poses instead of a floor move or double floor moves on you rest day. You could pick 12 cards and create a random routine. You could pick two emotions and switch emotions in the middle of the routine. It works for other artistic endeavors so why not for poling?

Thanks, I was really excited when I found out. I’m also very excited to see that poling has a more gymnastic side. I can’t wait for my first class tommorow.

I should add that I have my first one on one class on Monday and I don’t have my own pole yet.
