Thanks…I still want to try them but it’s annoying paying for postage just for an item which may or may not work 🙁

Hoping my next pole can be powder coated…just got a chrome one, so I hardly ever work on spins, my hand grip is too weak on it…
Shaving foam might also be worth a try, never found it helps me but some people swear by it.

Wow that’s a wide variety of poles to have at home- jealous!
Personally I have problems to start with in a session if my skin isn’t warm and sticky enough- so I make sure to do some strengthening exercises on the floor (sometimes just 1min plank, 1min each of side plank). I rarely feel I need it on my legs now, but I sometimes used to use hair spray, have you tried that?

Thanks, you’ve given me something to think about, hadn’t considered the platform an important factor…
Anyway, I bought 7inch heels, but haven’t been able to try them out as much as I want to- quite often, as soon as the heels come on, my 11month old daughter crawls over to try and play with them while they are on my feet 😛 and next time I have money to burn will try out 8inch heels 😀

It’s safe to use a shorter pole extension, but why would you want to if you can use the other room?
I had my xpert up for about 4 months under a ceiling which was 2m. Hated it. Tbf the ceiling was also sloped so I had to be careful on spinning not to hit my head. I felt like I couldn’t do loads of moves because of the height, and the screws at the bottom scratched my feet if I climbed from a kneeling position. Particularly as the xpert can spin quite fast, I personally need to be able to climb a bit to lose the spin before doing moves (and I love climbing).
