@Webmaster, thanks, that info is good to know, I will pay closer attention to that page. I don't do facebook, but I do YouTube.

@ VEENA… You posted that you just put on a NEW lesson today. Is there a way we could know when a new lesson is posted, and what it is so we could easily look for it? Thanks, I know it sounds lazy, but you already have so many, I would hate to accidently skip over one. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM

MemberFebruary 14, 2011 at 12:13 pm in reply to: Would you recommend the lessons on here!?I teach at a local studio, and YES, VEENA's lessons are WONDERFUL. Not only do they do a very thorough breakdown of the moves, they identify which muscle groups are used. I have also found that in teaching pole, one person can tell/show you how to do something and another person can tell/show you the exact same move, but sometimes you 'GET' what one person says, and not the other one. If that makes any sense at all. So either stand alone, or with your local studio, I say GET the membership. Another great thing, is when you learn a new trick, say at the studio, sometimes you forget it when you get home, with VEENA, she is ready to teach you, whenever you need her. Wow, do I sound like a commercial or what? lol

Veena's Lessons are the bomb. And I teach at a studio. Veena is the next best thing to being there. Although I do not have SFactor or Flirty girls DVD. I do own a mirage of all the others including ALL of BeSpun and all of Jamilla Deville, and countless others I might add. I especially like the way she breaks down the moves and highlights the muscle groups used. Helps you alot when you are strength training to know about such things. Well, that is my plug for the day. Good luck, and Happy Poling!!!

I am 6 months post op… at 4 months was cleared for anything but crunches… But haven't done much of anything for fear of hurting the repair. Doctor says core work ok, but no issolated ab work, if that makes any sense at all.
-
Would these be considered ab or CORE exercises??? … I am not allowed to do ab excercises just yet, after a tummy tuck with muscle repair, but can do CORE.

They come in a huge piece that looks like a bed mattress…no way to roll it, I did double mine over to get it home in the car, and they CAN be cut to ANY length you want. It is sold in the store only. Hope this helps, good luck!! They are AWESOME! More comfortable than my mattress, lol and take way more impact than our couch coushions.

Joann Fabrics carries 5 inch foam up to 7 feet long… THEY often run 50% off coupons too. I just covered mine with bed sheets, easily sewn together to make it covered. Since it is just for the house, I don't worry about needing vinyl on it, but you could buy that too to cover it yourself. Less than $150 for it ALL. If you don't mind a little sewing.

GREAT VIDEO>>>!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks bunches, hopefully others will look and follow, may save alot of injuries!

@Pink : in fact the point is to practice inverting without kicking so you can from the tip of your toes or cross ankle just pulling up you knee chest level slowly and going back down without letting go. If you need i could make a video
@Tigger… I would love to see a right way wrong way video on an invert without kicking. I think seeing them side by side would be an awesome learning tool…
