I should add that I do like the stage, but it’s a no go for floorwork and floor transitions around the pole. It’s too cold and hard for that for me.

I have an X-Stage Lite, and it is stable enough for me. It does move a little, but I don’t feel like it’s going to tip over or anything. You can check some of my videos to see the stability.

I have the portable rig. I have only set it up once, outside. I felt that it was sturdy. I thought that I would be able to set it up by myself, but I needed someone to help.

Funny, I was just thinking of this same question today. I haven’t tried it yet, but I think you should be able to go into a marley from the stargazer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gLTEFvaND0&t=2m31s shows her going from eros to tornado to stargazer, but I’m not sure if that works on spin.

That’s a pretty big misconception, actually, that if you just exercise, the weight will fall off. Losing weight is mostly affected by diet. For example, lots of people train for a marathon, thinking that they will lose weight. However, since they’re working harder, they get hungrier (as they should), and eat more, and so they stay the same weight or even gain a few pounds. I’ve been pretty much the same weight the whole time I’ve been pole dancing, since I haven’t changed my eating habits. I look a little smaller because I’ve gained some muscle and lost some fat, but it’s not a huge difference.

Thanks meganoff. I tried again a few days ago, and they must have updated something, because I am now able to view the videos on my iPad, which was what I wanted before I would sign up for lessons here. So now I’m signed up, and they are great!

There’s no special setting you need for the web browser, right? Or a certain level of membership here? I have the latest firmware for my iPad (3.2.2).
