Hi princess buttercup!
I signed up for Marlo’s signature moves on Friday, Karol helms down and dirty, and Kristy sellars 360 dance.
We were going to catch some of the free ones too and one of them is with acrobrandon.
I personally haven’t taken any classes with any of the teachers you mentioned, but maybe someone else can chime in?
I would love to meet up at the convention and say hi if you have some free time â¤ï¸ -
Ahhh as far as Facebook, stay away as long as you can or forever.. It drains so much of my time when I am already pretty busy. 😜😜 Lol

Colleen Jolly is the new owner and I have to say that she probably knows it is going unsaid that Pole Con has some major proving and redeeming to do with its return.
She has a major task on her hands and she has definitely been successful so far. She is so professional with a lot experience, and I have worked with her personally with writing blogs for her!
I’m excited for it’s return! -
Yes and the new owner of pole con released a statement today about that. I can definitely see how it may have tainted the image of Pole Con, but you’re right, it was handled way in advance. I believe it was cancelled 4-5 months in advance, which is still short notice but not two days!!!
This is what the new owner of Pole Con Released today in case you didn’t see it 😉

Whoops. I saw that you posted the article already- sorry about that! Lol. It’s still terrible, I’ve been following it all day
-
This article was release recently! This is absolutely terrible; pole events are far from cheap. It’s cost on average 1000-3,500$ per poler after everything is said and paid for…
I hope Sabrina Waller is sued to the max, and that everyone is refunded their money. -
-
It is absolutely worth the money in my opinion! This will be my 3rd convention
-
Hey ladies! So any and all info about the event can be found on Poleconvention.com.
The nature of these events are a little pricey. Workshops for non-pole run for 50$ And pole workshops run for 85$, there are also quite a bit of free ones.
It is in New Orleans, LA June 4-7th
there is a competition that friday night at 6:30pm!
I can’t wait to meet some of you ladies.
I live in New Orleans so if yall have any additional questions about the city itself- definitely private message me and I can help you with anything you need!!So far I’ve signed up for Marlo’s pole flow friday at 11am
And Karol Helms down n dirty at 2:00pm on Friday! -

You’ve come to the right place. You’ll notice that the pole community is one of the most diverse communities you will come across.
We are the least judgemental and you’re right, it doesn’t have to be sexual.
We also do not put down others who choose to make it sexual either. It’s all about you and how you like to use pole in YOUR life.
You will see some of us like to strap on our 8 inch heels and slink around on the floor in a sexy outfit-/ and others like to keep it purely athletic.. It’s all ok and you’re safe here.Welcome to StudioVeena.

Hey ladies!! I won’t be posting day 4 today just because I had a planned rest day.. I worked so hard this week!! Im excited to keep it going!! So, I’ll have day 4 and 5 upload on day 5 😉

Great job on the challenges so far ladies! Should I be linking my instagram videos here too? I’ve been posting them there and here but not sharing the link to this thread.
-
I second what Pretty Pixie said! i totally fell off the two yoga challenges i started. Although, the first one was more successful than the second. Lol!
My question is this though— My instagram is private, so if I do the challenge videos and hashtag #svpolebasics will people who do not follow me still be able to see it?? I always wondered this. If I do the challenge, i still want everyone who is looking at all the other challenge videos to see my videos too without having to change my privacy settings.
I hope that made sense -
thank you ladies so much- with your encouragement, I’m gonna do it!!!
I think I might buy a pair of pole uggs (I’ve been wanting a pair since they came out) to wear for the performance.
I would love to wear heels, but I think since it’s my first time performing i want to have one less thing to worry about– in addition, with the boots i will really be able to get down and *dirty* with some booty bouncing.I love that song you suggested Tropical Vertical.- it’s on my list now. It’s going to be hard to narrow them down.
