I have always prided StudioVeena and its members to not bring such controversial issues to this site. This issue is very divided and the media has definitely had its hands deep into this one, in my opinion. I think to keep this site at a neutral stand point and free of outside controversies of the world, this discussion should be left to facebook or other social media sites… or hey, private message on Veena inbox?
Just my two sense and only a suggestion…
And I can't speak for others, but I wouldn't be surprised if others felt the same, but didn't feel comfortable saying so.
Happy poling ladies.

they are super cute!! but i would only pay this much for a pair lululemon pants not bad kitty… the pole fit pants are 40$ though, i might buy a pair of those at pole expo if i like the stiching and material

I do not have an injury. My fear of one inhibits me from progressing. Self doubt and getting past initial feelings to execute or “dig in” to a trick.😉

I have the same questions as Lyme.
My fear of an injury and falling has inhibited me from putting 100% into learning new tricks, when i know i have the strength to do so. -
CapFeb– you are hilarous! he is a sexy man, i agree!
in my opinion, you shouldnt worry about wasting an instructors time. you are paying them for their service. regardless of your level (and i know you are advanced), you will not, i repeat, NOT, be the only that will need adjustments.
i witnessed this first hand at pole con last year.I can empathize with how you feel, but dont feel unworthy to take a particular workshop.
In Marion Crampe workshop at pole con (was for all levels) I thought i would be the only person that couldnt invert at the time, I swear to you I wasnt!!!I learned her unique style of warm up and cool down. And until my death, I wil NEVER forget how she broke down the marion amber even though I am not even 80% close to having the strength to do it.
You will never lose out on taking any workshop…
Now obviously, i signed up for marions workshop last year because it specified for all levels.
I think Pole Expo is 100 times more organized and i like that they seperated the workshops into levels. So everyone has an idea of what is required 😉 -
i am interested in helping others! im not advanced but I would love to provide encouragement

i am considering going to the dermatologist for hyperhidrosis… I really think I have it… I have had a sweating issue since I hit puberty.. I sweat through men's over the counter clinical strength deodrant.. I now wear two different brands so I don't sweat through it… My feet barely sweat, but my hands are crazy sweaty..
It has gotten a little better since I have gained more strength, but it won't go away…
Thats why I'm thinking a doctor might be able to help… I just can't hold off much longer.

Then you can start setting other goals once you reach them.
Always start small.
I was frustrated when i started and ended up not doing it so often (once a week or every other week). My progress was very slow, but I tried not to think about it and I gave myself props for making any type of progress.
Now im at the point that i pole 3-4 times a weekly lately.
I dont have my first ever videos of pole on this site… But if you could see them, you wouldnt feel so bad. 🙂I really hope i could help because I’ve been where you are
