Honestly, this is the last place you’ll be judged in regards to exotic dancing for money– its a job.
Its hard for me to say because I have never worked in a club. I do however have two personal friends that did work in clubs. one of them was actually my very first pole teacher.
But, being that you are on the other other side of the world than me in the beautiful Oz (im dying to visit your country) I am not sure of the market you all have for strip clubs.
I livei in New Orleans, louisiana in the States and we are best known for Bourbon street to “party goers” from around the world, which has so many strip clubs.
From my understanding, the money comes and goes. For us, we thrive off mardi gras. The girls can make anywhere for 200$-3,000$ in one night during mardi gras.
And during the summer when the season slow, they might be lucky to walk out with 40$ a shift.
Its all going to depend on the market your area has and what type of club you work in… -
so glad you love your pole!! I can’t wait to invest in a second pole. I love my brass, but i notice it is tempermental sometimes due to my local climate. It is realitively hot where I live, but I really think I would do well with a powder coat all year round.

Oh yah!!! I am definitely in for this. π

i saw this a few weeks ago.. Mind Blown…. Love it

Not that the audience didn’t react well… But I expected more of an applause, I guess
-
I like the shock factor of it… I think people expected them to be like a Mina and Nadia or Enchanted just because they announced they were doing a double routine.. I personally would have liked to have seen more pole tricks too.. BUT, That’s not their thing..
I loved the pole kiss… But it was kind of a turn off because the audience didn’t react well… Who knows, maybe the audience was just a bunch of prudes….
Just my humble opinion.. I’ve seen WAYYYYY MORE risquΓΒ© things at burlesque and cirque shows in my area….. -
A family that lived around the corner from me had four kids and they were home schooled. They were very dear childhood friends and I went to regular school during the day and played with them in the afternoon. Their mom used a lot of audio recordings for learning, videos, workbooks, etc. Their mom did have a designated room with four desks. She didn’t make them sit in them all day, i remember them saying that’s where they would take their tests or needed quiet time for practicing.
CaliPolePixie home schools her children as well. Maybe she will chime in π

Just like I did, I knew somewhat what I was getting into and instead of being upset about it, I went in with a positive attitude and still learned π

When it comes to an all levels specified workshop, i dont see a problem in taking it if you feel comfortable doing so…
i will put it to you this way, at pole con I could not do hardly anything in Marion Crampes workshop but to this day I can explain and break down how she taught a marion amber…That knowledge will never be taken away from me and the experience i gained from closely paying attention is priceless.. Yes, I was a little intimidated because I wasnt on the level to be in the workshop, but I quickly got over that because level was not specified and I am a paying customer. Who cares, I paid MY OWN money for it and still got something out of it. I think this is matter of being able to put self-esteem aside. I wanted to be in the environment and I like to surround myself with people better than i am because it keeps me motivated instead of letting intimidation get the best of me. π

I am a private lesson junkie. I will choose a private over a group class anyday.. Its usually double the price of the workshop being hosted, but sometimes only 30-45$
