As everyone mentioned… Alethea, Veena, and EMIL! I USE THEM ALL. Each one has something different to offer and are all great tools.

i had an issue with uploading a video and wanted to check with him before i further investigated on my end.. he replied back promptly and sorted it out. i no longer have the issue.
i had the pleasure of going to Veena and Webmaster’s house during Pole Expo this September. I can say that I caught a glimpse and they really do pour their hearts and souls into this site.
Its people like them that deserve recognition and any benefits they reap from this site.. They earned it and work for very hard!
In addition, they are wonderful parents. They have the most well behaved, intelligent, children I have ever met in my life. Seriously. -
i am in awe. its perfect

tacha666 thats awesome you know the price of a silicone xpole because i email them several times a month ago trying to find out the price and have heard nothing. at least they give customer service to someone

I tried both at expo.. i was very disappointed in the sleeves… i had a great grip, but i didnt like how much wider it was.
I fell in love with the SV pole though. Gripper than my brass and less tempermental. Its on my “things to purchase” list -
you've come to the right place. you should definitely look into Veena's lessons, they have helped me ten fold. its really important to make some type of structure for yourself, especially poling alone at home. if anything, really focus on a good warm doing what you like, whether its freestyling, twerking, hula hooping, jogging, etc before pole. and just always remember its not about how many tricks you can, but the quality of the moves. =) skypes with other members are always an option, i really love them because its just like having someone else there with you but just through a computer screen =)

MemberSeptember 1, 2013 at 3:29 pm in reply to: which Pole Expo workshops are you interested in?i plan on wear a cute, long maxi shirt with a tank top.. i will probably just wear pole shorts underneath so my skirt will be easily removable if i decide to hop on the pole with everyone else… it will make great pictures 😉

i love the 6 minute express warm up… I personally hate warm ups on my own, i always dread it.. Even though I cant stand doing it, I ALWAYS make myself do it anyway. I learned a long time ago this is a terrible idea and Ive always made myself do it since then.
Love hot showers to warm ul but I havent done that really since i moved. I usually make sure I layer up with legging, leg warmer over that, and a tank and a shirt over that.
I usually jump around like a wild woman and the layers help break a sweat faster. If you wear lots of layers and do the express warm up and maybe a minute of jumping jacks, you should be good to go after.
If you are going for a intense stretch session, i do all of the above and the. I do basic stretches for about 15 minutes before I even attempt splits or backbends -
wow april, you slide after a shower?
often times, ive shower twice in day for pole. Ive showered many times before practice because I usually stick like a fly, but I tend to take pretty hot showers and then shower again after because i would get so sweaty. -
paintilady- i hope you are able to work this out. Lots of great info here. I really wanted to comment so I can continue to follow this thread…
Businesses aside, but still remaining relevant to the subject of added fees, it seems as everything has doubled in the last year… My water bill went up 50$ a month for a new recycling fee when recycling was always covered years prior. WHICH IS A CRAZY PRICE IN MY OPINION. I hate how its just added to the bill and there was never a notice to let the public know there would be an added fee.
