omg glitter that is soo awesome!! i wish i could go with you soo bad!! you’re gonna do great, the girls gave some good advice, and i completely agree with dancing slower than you’d think you should.. you’re a great dancer and you’re gonna do awesome! also if you feel nervous, don’t forget to just close your eyes and take 3 deep slow breaths before you go on, while reminding yourself how awesome you are.. good luck & can’t wait to hear how it went!!

Pole-twista your videos are anything but sucky! i too agree with everyone else about posting vids on the same day- the views/comments will tend to spread out between them.. and it’s not just you, i’ve actually noticed that happening with others and on you tube as well. It also happened to me when the site first put the video section on, and i uploaded whatever video i had done so far on the same day. i tend to like commenting on every video i watch, but of course i miss some, and others i just haven’t gotten to yet! don’t stop posting i love watching you and i think you dance beautifully!!

hi and welcome, i’m sure you’ll love pole dancing, and you’ll find that it will keep you working out/dancing on a regular basis!

PLEASE take a look at the article to the left of the home page called "why a quality pole is important". !!! Everyone here will tell you to stay far far far away from the peek-a-boo, carmen electra, and aerobic poles!!! (they’re all the same company) Foxy_Rei had one of those and she posted a video showing how cheap and dangerous those poles are- you should check it out (i think it may be in that article, if not, you can find it on her profile page). X-pole is definately one of the best poles, has excellent customer service, discreet packaging, and will last you a long long time and is SAFE! There’s also more info about this under the "poles" section in the forum.
ps. i’m sure you’ll love this site, everyone here is awesome!

poledork- you’re really so sweet for writing that post.. that was very thoughtful of you! That’s so cute how you’re so modest and trying to justify your progress.. i understand how all those things helped you to do so well on the pole, (similar things in my past have helped me as well), but i believe you’re also innately awesome and just have an amazing talent for pole-dancing! Don’t hesitate to show off your next video, i can’t wait to see it and to follow your progress!!! xxx

maybe it’s just me, but i think that the shoulder mount dismount is waaayy harder than the actual shoulder mount.. i tried it once, had no control whatsoever, and just flopped down- so i don’t think that helped my abs any- so really there’s no point doing it for me yet.. plus i got kinda scared, it seems a bit dangerous not being able to control it! I find it better to practice this right after doing a SM, just coming right back down before actually completing the invert- still hard though! i could be wrong, but i’d say it might be better to learn the SM first. :0 Let me know if you figure anything else out about this!xx

I can’t believe your ex said that you! well i’m glad he’s now your ex, and not current boyfriend! He sounds like one of those guys that like to make their girlfriends feel as if they’re lucky he’s even with them. eeeeoooow.
At least one good thing that came out of it is that it pushed you to pick up pole dancing, which you say you always wanted to!

There’s nothing wrong with you wanting to do it even more after him saying that to you (i’m the same way).. but i agree with auntie rouge about doing it for yourself, and i think that you will naturally feel that way really soon about it. also, congrats on the weight loss, and i totally agree with everyone else about being healthy rather than thin.. i was down to 95lbs at one point, but was drinking and smoking alot, had very low energy, and couldn’t last 20min on a treadmill! my fat level was also at 22%. good luck with everything and stay away from negative people who thrive on others’ insecurities! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

LOL!! this reminds me of a dancer friend of mine that i go-go danced with for a short time. She had told me that you could be up on stage, pulling off the sexiest pose ever, while at the same time "letting one out"… so all these guys are like drooling over you, meanwhile little do they know… hehe i thought that was so funny! now whenever i go out and see the dancers i sometimes can’t help having her words run through my mind. Geez if i was a guy she would’ve probably spoiled all my fun lol https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_tongue.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cyclops_ani.gif

oh my gosh! i had to wait 2 months to order mine, and even that felt like forever!!! have you considered getting a freestanding one on a stage? i think those are a bit more expensive, but if there’s nothing else you can do… ? Hope you figure something out soon!!!
