Thanks Colleen. I did both feet. Had to sleep on the hospital for 3 nights. The doctor said it will take 6 weeks to 2 months until I can walk again. I’m ok with anything as long as I could get rid of those bunions at the same time (big smile).

Thanks Veena. I will need to keep it safe at least 6 weeks until I can walk again. In the past years, each time I went to class, I always felt “They’re looking at my ugly feet” LOL. Next year I will have only the scars, no more ugly bunions. So happy!!!!

I did it! I had an injection into my lower back spine and I felt no pain during the surgery. I will have almost normal feet like others! Yeah!

Thanks for your advice but I can no longer stand my ugly feet. I will be ok to sit long until I can slowly walk again. I eat mostly whole foods and very little so currently I’m under weight. I will exercise my upper body and move the legs in possible movements during a few first months after the operation.

I had a check up with the doctor in a hospital. After the X Ray, he showed me what he would do to adjust the toe into the right direction. He also advised me to do one foot at a time and said a regular pain killer for the foot couldn’t bear the operation pain, so he would use the spine injection. But that time I just paid the doctor, staff cost and X Ray cost and didn’t take the surgery. Now a few years have passed and I decided I would do it in another hospital.

How many days did it take until you could walk, Colleen? I heard that someone having a back surgery could walk after a week. Thanks.

Thanks a lot, Colleen. And about the scars. Are they visible and did you do something with them? Going to a beauty clinic to treat the scars, something like that…

I was thinking of it many years ago and gave up after I saw the youtube clips of the surgery. Looked so scary!!!! Now I think I have enough with my ugly feet each time I go to the beach or pool. I guess I’ll do both at the same time so I only bear the thing they inject in my spine once (so I won’t feel pains during the operation). I heard someone died after this spine thing. Scary scary!!!!

Hi Dolce, I’m thinking of a bunion surgery and I feel it is scary. How are your feet now? I had an accident many years ago on my foot and it took several years until pains completely went.

  • Thank you for your replies.

  • Thanks for your reply. The post I read in this forum said we need 2 different groups of muscles to do the middle splits and to do the butterfly pose on the floor, and most people are not flexible at both.

Any effort is good, be it full time ot part time. The latter is called plant based, not vegan. I have a headache if I eat too much banana or almond.

You can eat tons of fresh and raw fruits and vegetables without having to count. It works to me. Any diet requiring calory counting will not work. Please eat organic raw, or steamed, boiled, nothing processed, and you can eat until full every meal. About carbs, as long as they are real foods like boiled potato, boiled/steam sweet potato, cooked whole rice, eat them up. I don’t eat french fries and things being fried in hot oil. Hope you will find a style which suits you. Everybody is different. Try until you feel good.

When I started to eat clean, the first step was to stop eating everything having a commercial (advertised on TV). I cut all the refined sugar and refined salt. I try to eat whole foods as often as possible. I cut out cow milk and meat. Feeling much better.

If you block him, he might create another account to do his creepy things. Just reply short and cold like “thanks” and put him in a list so he can no longer see your pictures and updates. I had friends who always messaged some compliments instead of clicking like. That bothers me a lot, like they’re on fb with a low profile while trying to stalk girls and nobody knows. I told them I cannot response to all messages as I have too many of them everyday. They still stalk me publicly (all those “you’re sexy” comments, etc.) but lose their interests after a while.
