It doesn’t make sense to me that they’d only tell 4 of them one day, then 2 the next. We probably dont have as much contact with the other people…. just a thought – could be wrong!!
And Im sure there’s no rush for them to tell everyone else that they didnt make it… my thoughts! -

Grip gloves are NOT allowed during competitions, however; you may use grip aid formulas!
And, Im sure Alethea will get in there… I dont doubt that for a second!
Has anybody heard ANYTHING yet as far as amateur goes?!?!

Yes, floorwork is always a good idea! Maybe learning a basic climb on the pole, just how to get on it, and eventually sitting on it. Pole-ups? But maybe the 30 year old may not be able to do one…
Hmm, I honestly think its best to just tell them that theyre working and moving along at different paces, and just be real with them that youre finding it difficult to come up with things that the both of them can do. Maybe in a non-chalaunt (sp!) way? You could get them to work on the body spiral… ? Pirouettes? Work on flexibility?
I hope maybe this helped a little! -
I would say its mainly mental!! I, personally, feel like the reason I have progressed so quickly on the pole is because I was never afraid of it or of the pain. I didnt care what I had to do to get a move, I was going to get it! (maybe that sounds bad haha) but, just own the pole. you can do it girl!!

Ah! All the moves you have trouble with due to sweaty hands are EXACTLY the ones I have difficulty doing without grip aids! I have tried chalk/rosin/Tite Grip/ and Dry Hands. I tell ya, as soon as I did the iguana mount with Dry Hands… I remember giving a huge smile and short laugh, because it worked SO well. Its definitely my favorite. Havent tried Mighty Grip – but please let us know how you like it!!
I try not to use it often, but I probably use it everytime I pole dance because I use it when learning new moves, and sometimes it takes weeks and weeks to get a new move soooo bunches of Dry Hands is necessary!!

Oh yeah, the pole she got definitely came with photocopied instructions, and a burned copy of the KT Coates DVD… totally illegal…
Thanks for the information!
