Dismount from Gemini – switch legs to Scorpio – into Scorpio handstand and then with a little momentum from the free leg you add a little spin to come to floor xx

Hi I’m just CJ – so the bits you got did they look like mine ? – my mounting block has no screws and apparently they don’t come with screws – but that piece in the picture I am assuming sits inside the end of the x pole and from there is pushed into the mounting block – no way the thinner shaped end of it fits into the ceiling mount – there is also a strange looking screw which in the photo I’ve taken apart – that came in a little separate bag – did you have any of these bits ? – I’ve got a ceiling mount for my shorter pole plus an adapter that sits in the end ( it was originally an average pole with a mushroom hat ) – but these fixings are totally different !

Is it for you ? I’ve used flashing lights at my studio – and you can really get quite a few options that flash etc to the beat of the music – you could have any type and direction it to the pole – but I did have mixed views in class – some girls found it gave them a headache xxx

I have a studio with a suspended ceiling – so I have a plate fitted behind the tile plus just a piece of wood shaped in a circle in front so my pole goes up to that – part of ceiling has a beam too and so I’ve attached the same thing to that – I’ve marked a line round where the ‘hat’ of the pole should sit in order for it to be central and it works just fine – I’ve attached a photo – ps I agree small poles are just fine – I find they just pinch a bit for legs xxx

I’m intrigued – I didn’t realise x pole did ‘ build a pole ‘ – I’ve got a stage and two average poles but would like a taller one – I was under the impression you had to have it specially made ? Can you tell me more ? X

Great thanks – she was trying some weird hard one handed planche move by slan a Russian guy – she was doing it in class with a guy and was determined to master it before him – I should have been paying more attention to them really – but yes I think something under skin xx

I have just given a first pole class to a 16 year teenage girl – she has really enjoyed it but is off on Wednesday to spend time with her dad in SantaMonica – just off Maine Street – she would like to attend some classes whilst in the States (we are in UK) has anyone any suggestions for a small friendly pole studio in this area ?
