I have a chrome 50mm and a TG 45 mm.I learn all new tricks on a 50mm first then use the 45mm when i'm in the mood for it.I bought the 45mm cause I thought the grip would be better, but with the heat and humidity here ( its about 25-30 celcius all year round) I can only use the Titanium ONLY when I'm not sweaty. If i'm perspiring, even climbing the pole is a challenge.I have a few friends with the same problem too,but others say its the best grip.I hope to buy a brass X-Pole.

Sigh……

I have cats too,and they all seem to hang around me when im practicing. Some tend to watch me,others are more active, chasing each other and the likes https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif
Its funny how you see more cats in pole videos than dogs ( maybe dogs are camera shy? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif )anyway, this has always been my favourite pole and cat vid,im sure you have seen this

Interesting Post Fleur!
I have seen many pole dancers on Youtube doing inversions and other advanced move but struggle to do simple spin tricks. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif
My pole teacher ( her name is Linna Tan) refuses to let us invert till we have learnt all our spins, and once we were in the intermediate class, then it was inverting time. ( back then, pole was really new in Singapore,so only 3 levels were offered. No such thing as handspring yet then) Once we were ready,it was time for inverts and maybe simple inverted tricks ( gemini, scorpio, etc). She was really strict, and in class there was a girl with gymnastic background who inverted behind my teacher’s back and got quite a scolding. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
My friends back home refuses to learn spins, and i keep telling them to at least do classes and learn the basics.Very frustrating to convince them that they must learn the basics first.
It took me 5 months or so before i started to invert. It was hard for me cause i was kinda big back then ( i weigh almost 75kg) but im glad i took my time.
I dont take classes anymore because im always flying and never around but i miss being in a class. It was really fun! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif -
I always tell friends to get a 50mm first,as its a standard size in competitions plus its an easier transition if you switch to a 45mm..
I have both the 50 and 45 mm at home but always learn a new trick 90 percent of the time on my 50mm first https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_profileleft.gif
