Awesome idea and very generous offer!
Also agree with Neke that gymnastics are fabulous for pole too – I will have a group of friends of mine who are gymnasts to try my pole and maybe I can learn something with them too – if this happens, I’ll definitely share this here too!
    Best!

Thank you for posting this! I absolutely loved it.
Will have to listen to the song you mentioned (don’t know it) now, because am curious to hear that bridge and to visualise your suggested moves with the music.
I love music and have had some experience playing some instruments, but definitely not a strong background. Anyway, lovely of you to post such an enormous message about music and dancing. Very vgenerous!
    Best.

Sorry to hear you went through that kind of abuse, it must feel pretty bad, but I bet good things can be taken out of it too. Not only from the responses you get here, but also from some of the positive responses to the video you got in that site too, no?
I guess lots of people will automatically see the picture or read – ‘pole dancing’ and ‘lord’ and judge, in that second, that they don’t go along. I guess some people have watched the videos and learned to appreciate them for what they were, some people will, however, always be opposed to any kind of pole dance let alone any connection to religion. The aggressiveness is not justified, of course, but I am sure you will get an equal measure of support and warmness towards your way and that will – I hope – make up for what you get from your critics.

So sorry to hear that. Hope that you get the refund given that you seem to have followed all the appropriate steps. As for the job, hope you find something good soon.

So sorry to hear that. I understand your pain, I got injured almost 3 months ago (shoulder) and am just starting to get back to exercise now. It is not only the pain of not doing what you want to do and/or love, but also this lack of knowledge about what to do to prevent other injuries.
    Wish you a speedy recovery!

I also love the way you named your playlists.
Have you thought of Sade for your ‘red wine’? Interesting to see Piazzola on your list, I listen to tango very frequently and love dancing to it… there are some very upbeat electronic tangos that might go well on other lists too. Great idea!

Felix’s awesome videos were posted in another thread, but I just found Jennyne’s video on youtube – she got the second place:

I also like powerballs. I had a problem on my left wrist when I first started dancing and a powerball helped me a lot in the recovering process. Now I have an injured shoulder and am starting to use them for that too, so they will probably be usefull for poling times – wrists, arms, shoulder… and they are good for warm ups too.
    Best wishes!

    Naked, for sure.
I find it beautiful to see dancers in heels, boots and all, but I can fall from my pole heels (6") just walking on them – which is strange in a way because I have no problems with ‘normal’ heels… It is my plan, though, to start practicing with heels (as soon as I get better and can start practicing again)

Go to the video you want to delete, below it it will be the options "edit" and "delete" – just click ‘delete’ and that should do.

Congratulations! I was also overjoyed when I got the SM 1st time and when I stopped poling for 2 years it was the last move that I got back, so I know exactly what it feels to nail this move. Well done!

Thanks again Rouge and Veena for the responses.
I guess I’ll be trying to do some floor work, the sexy transitions I never bothered learning well and I’ll work on flexibility too – lots to do anyway.
Rouge, yes, I do latin dances – samba, forró, salsa, Brazilian zouk/lambada, tango (I have only formally learned the non-Brazilian ones, namely salsa and tango, though). I guess they have helped me with pole and I would like to see/hear how you incorporate them in your routines.
Thanks again – I guess I am less impatient now, so you really helped!

Have you seen Alicia’s death drop? (It is an amazing drop from the death lay in the end of the clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRFVFOA-VRQ ) Her entire performance is great but the gran finale is amazing!
