My grandfather and I spell talk, been doing it since I was about 8 years old. Basically, it's just spelling outloud and having a conversation with a person by spelling what you want to say to them, really fast. It sounds easy but it really isn't. I've tried doing it with other people and they just don't get it. Also tried to teach my husband and he wasn't getting it at all lol. My grandfather and I are the only ones in the family who can do it and it's something only he and I share 🙂

I've been to/taken classes at about 8 in the LA area. And 1 out of state-Fitness with a twist in Pittsburgh. My plan is to visit a studio everytime I go to another state or town from now on though. I quite enjoy experiencing the different teaching styles and atmospheres in the different cities. I hope to drop in on on a class at Fawnia's studios in Vegas the next time I go! 🙂

Using SV & going to studio class was the combo that worked the best for me.
Now due to financial issues, I wont be able to take studio lessons or SV lessons for awhile, which I am really bummed about 🙁

I have a popcorn ceiling and its ok. I've had my pole about 3 years….A few pieces come down when I have to take my pole down and put it back up (which I only do every couple months or so) but it doesn't really leave damage on the ceiling. There is slight a dome outline/impression in the ceiling but you have to stare to notice it and honestly when it's down a couple of days I don't even notice the area where it was anymore. To a strangers virgin eyes they won't notice anything.

Who would have known this would be such a heated thread, oh my goodness. I'll keep my post simple. My insanely in shape friends (some ACE personal trainers) preach this to me all the time: Cardio (3-4x a week), lowering calorie intake/calorie counting, portion control and limiting and/or eliminating processed sugars & soda.
I am a low carber have been for over 12 years–I eat fruits, veggies, lots of meat and fish but I do my best to limit breads, pastas, sweets, pastries and rices as much as I can. I only allow myself to cheat 1-2x a week (usually on the weekends). It has been effective in keeping my weight where I want it but I too am trying to rid myself of my belly pooch…been fighting it for the last few years beginning to think that it may be a curse of my genetics because no matter what I do it is not going away!!!
