We had a brass pole in class and every single girl had grip issues with it..it was shocking!! The instructor ended up getting rid of it and getting a titanium finish which is definitely boss…Also mighty grip doesn’t recommend using their gloves on brass

I use Mighty Grip gloves all the time..Ive gone through quite a few pairs..We have a titanium and a matte brass in class. My gloves are brilliant on the titanium but completely sketchy on the brass..Im forever commenting on how the brass does not like my gloves at all.

I’ve been poling for 2yrs and its only recently started where im constantly sore and easily bruised. Moves that I use to find relatively easy are now painful. Im taking ibuprofen before class now too hoping to numb the pain a little. Its very frustrating especially after 18 months of moderate bruising and just the discomfort pain from learning a new move to the giant black bruising and almost feel like crying pain.
