Yeah, maybe it’s just me being so new. I mean, our teacher does a great job of showing us a combo of a turn, a floor move, and a spin. The thing is that it takes maybe 30 seconds to do and then I just try to remember and do spins and turns but I feel like they don’t really look that great! It would be cool to have a whole routine!

my textured ceiling was one of my biggest concerns before I ordered my pole. Who wants to buy an expensive pole and then not use it because it will tear the ceiling up? BUT, I put it up anyway and it was just fine. A couple of flakes came off the first time and my husband kind of just looked at me like i was nuts but from then on no more fell off!!! No problems and I use the xpole almost everyday.

I’ve got popcorn ceilings in every room of my house! I used to hate them but they’re cute with my modern looking house! Anyway, I put up and take down my x-pole and don’t have a problem with any of it falling off. My husband almost didn’t want me to order the pole because he was worried about the ceiling stuff crumbling off but I did it anyway and it’s just fine.

    Yup!

When your husband texts you to ask what you’re doing and the message you see says "Polehoppin?"… you might be a poledancer.

I agree with Glitterhips… When your husband hears a loud thud and doesn’t bother to see what is was…you might be a poledancer.

When you tell your stepdaughter that the slight indentation in the ceiling came from trying to put up a smoke detector in her room instead of that your pole slipped because it wasn’t positioned correctly…you might be a poledancer. (Whoops!)

Make sure your bottom hand thumb is pointing up. I used to try it down and it never worked! First time I tried it with thumb up, I got it!
