I do have vaulted ceilings in my living room, but I already have a pole in there. I never need a ladder to take it down, but if I got silks too, I would always need to bring in a ladder. Maybe I will get a rig even though my pool takes up the whole backyard and I don’t know exacltly where I’d put it. I’ll figure out something…I always do!
I originally had another silk in my exercise room that was 8-9 feet and I had a pole in the middle too. I used my pole to climb up and take down the rigging so I can pole . I wanted it originally on my 17 feet setup but my husband thought it wouldn’t look good. But now that its up, it just looks like a curtain decoration when its draped up. i would love an outdoor setup too . The portable kind cost 2300 to 3000 plus ++++++ shipping to canada. Too much for me.Ohhhh I never thought about just climbing up my pole to take it down! Great idea! Thanks!

I have been taking my thyroid medication since last week. I have been eating better and doing more physical activity. I have so far lost 5 pounds! I feel alot better and I seem to have more energy. I am not sure if its the medication or in my head the the medication is working already. Either way I am feeling so much better!

can one of your wonderful lucky ladies who has circus equipment post a picture of what the rigging looks like in your ceiling. I want a hoop or silks, but already have a pole and I am not sure how the ceiling would look if I add another hardware piece up there! Any pics would be great. Is is easy to remove the silks/hoops/ect?

Thanks to all of you for your support and for sharing your experiences. I had my dr. appt today. I do have Hypothyroidism, so my thyroid is not producing enough hormone. The doctor says I will start feeling better in a week or two. He gave me a 3 month prescription for Levoxyl. I have to go back in 3 months and get additional lab work to check the levels and doseage. He did not prescribe cholesterol meds since he feels the underactive thyroid is to blame. I am a little bummed about that because I can’t see the dermatologist for 3 months since I will not get labs done for that time period. I was really hoping on starting accutane before summer so I will feel better about myself. Oh well my thyroid problems are more important. I am sure if I feel better the acne won’t make me feel so bad! I will keep you updated on if all of my uncomfortable symptoms start to go away.

I feel ya! I never had this much of a sweating problem until the last couple of years or so. I don’t know where it came from. I sweat really bad at night. My lower back, stomach and booby sweat https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif
I now use Secret Clinical strength anti-persiperant and use it on my lower back and under/between my boobs and it keeps the sweat away. You are supposed to use it at night and it lasts the entire next day. Plus by then it is absorbed into the skin and leaves no residue when you are poling!

Hi! I also have vaulted ceilings. X-pole does not work with vaulted ceilings. I have a Lil Mynx pole and bought the vaulted ceiling mount for $30. It’s a very easy pole to put up and take down, but the mount is always there. Here is the site so you can take a look at the mount you will need. The pole comes with a standard mount that can be camouflaged as a plant hook, which I put outside on my patio since it will not work any where else in my house.
