Unfortunately I do not take lessons. I really can’t afford it at this time. I’ve made some financial changes in my life. If they work out the way I want them to, I will be able to start lessons after the new year. I love her work and the videos of her class and students!

Regretably I did NOT make it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif
My boyfriend surprised me by taking me to a wine bar in Redlands and then a candlit dinner for my 30th birthday. It was a surprise and could not say I didn’t want to go. I will check out Antix’s your tube site for videos. I am sad I didn’t get to meet you.

I will be going to Festivus tonight. It is being held in Redlands, the city in which I live! The bar is about 5 minutes away from my house!

I also have a lil’ mynx pole with a vaulted ceiling mount. I used to have a problem with the actual mount spinning when I’d use it on spin mode. I just took my alan wrench and really tightened both parts of the mount. I did not mount my pole to the highest part of my vaulted ceiling since it would’ve been way too short. I would have to get a custome pole. Maybe you are trying to mount it too high? Lil Mynx has awesome customer service and they can help you trouble shoot problems or if it’s defective they will send you a replacement. Let me know how it all works out for you. Sorry I couldn’t be a better help!

Hi! I replied to your message. I will get you a link to purchase the harware and accessories to intall silks at your house. You can probably do the static trapeze at home/backyard that is what I am gonna do on my patio. They do make a free standing aerial rig that you can set up in your yard for trapeze/hoops/ribbons. I’ve seen it priced any where from $3000 to $3800. Here is the link to on of the aerial rigs I’ve seen! This rig is smaller (and the one I want since I have a small backyard cause of a pool) and about $1000 less.

Just google circus equipment sales and you will find tons of sites and info!

I feel ya. The studio closest to me is $40 a class at the door or if you pay in advance its $35 or you can get 15 class punch card for $300. I don’t know how people can afford this I know I can’t. I am living on a single income right now and things are really tough for me.

WOW I didn’t even realize there were so many climbs! Can someone describe the gemini climb or spider climb? They sound interesting!

HI! I have a Lil Mynx and love, love, love it! It is so easy to take down/put up. I have a vaulted ceiling so I had to buy the special mount. It comes with a standard mount that looks like a flower hook to disguise it. I put the standard one outside so I can pole in my living room or on my patio. You can buy numerous mounts for various rooms and since it is easier to take down and put up than the x pole it ends up being very convenient. I also love that you must drill into the ceiling to attach to joist. Gives me added security that it will not collapse during moves. If you move it is easy to fix. A little plaster mud and spray texture, if you have a popcorn ceiling and bam it’s good as new. Oh yea it comes in many finishes and colors with a spinny option as well. You can get it as a friction pole as well. No need to drill holes and fully portable. I think the xpole is friction. Here is the link! Happy poling!

I am having my fiance install silks in the living room near my pole. If I wanna do silks I can take my pole down and vise versa. He is also going to put a static trapeze on the patio for me! I wish my parents had put me in circus when I was a kid. It seems like I am making up for lost time trying to do this now when I will be 30 in a couple of months!

I wish I could go in chat! My computer (government) has too many restrictions. I can’t even go on you tube. I am surprised I can even get on SV from this comp!

Ditto! I looked on the tech page the other day and someone had posted this problem a few months ago, but there were no responses so that didn’t help. I hope they fix it soon cause there were some awesome core strengthing exercises from Roxy Pink!

Aww I see. People should always hire contractors! Before I bought my house a year ago I saw alot of houses that were in really bad shape. Johnny homeowner sued bandaid after bandaid instead of doing it correctly. I have a Lil Mynx stainless steel pole with static/spin mode. I love it. It requires no tools to take off and put up when you need to! Plus it was the only pole that you could buy a vaulted ceiling mount with!
