8 ft pole is fine, but yes a 14 ft pole would be awesome. My pole is 12 ft and I use it in my living room which has vaulted ceilings. Why can’t your husband access the attic area? My fiance had to access our living room to install a ceiling fan and some can lights?!? usually you have to have access to that area in order to get to/install electical and such.

I finally got this move a couple weeks ago. When I tried it again a few days later I couldn’t do it any more https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

I love love love Secret Clinical Strength. It works so awesome! It even comes in waterproof which is great when I am wakeboarding! It works so good I use it in other places other than armpits. I use on my lower back and under/in between breast so I don’t get boobie sweat. Last thing I wanna see are wetspots on my back and under my boobs (especially shirts I dont’ wear bras with)! How embarrasing would that be?!?! I use it every night on those places after my shower and dry off. I put it on and don’t have to worry about putting it on the next morning. It is expensive, but it works great for me and smells good.

I love my lil mynx as well. I have a vaulted ceiling and had to buy the special mount for it. I don’t think anyone else carries something for vaulted ceilings. I never had to stand on a stool to install it either. One I twisted it for the length I needed it to be I can easily push it into the mount and slide the bottom (i have carpet as well) into place. It is so easy to mount and dismount. I used the mount that came free with it outside on my patio so I can use it out there as well.

YAY I finally was able to get not only the Gemini but the Scorpio as well. It’s not too graceful yet and I can’t seem to get the flexibility I see other have. I will post a video hopefully later today so I can get some tips on how to make the moves look more graceful. It is hurting alot to hold on with only one leg at a time, but like everything else your skin will get used to it. Thanks to everyone who left me advice on this post! It took me awhile to get them, but I finally did!

August 27, 2009 at 10:07 pm in reply to: HALLOWEEN! Ideas, plans?

WOW everyone has great Halloween plans/ideas! I love this holiday the most. I want it to be my wedding day too and it falls on a Saturday this year…oh well.

I will be at "Camp Eerie Emerson" with my son’s cub scout troop. Every year all of the local packs; cubs, boy scouts, and venture crews camp in Idyllwild, CA and decorate their campsites and pass out candy. It’s trick or treating in the woods in a safe environment. Some troops get really creative and have mazes and haunted houses. It’s so much fun! After trick or treating they serve night time snacks while turning on a movie. We camp in our tents and they serve breakfast the following morning!

Halloween theme challenge sounds like fun as do the posting of halloween profile pics!

Hi! I feel your pain. When I was learning to invert I figured out I was doing it wrong. Instead of gracefully lifting my lower body I was kicking up and it would send my side into the pole really hard. It’s a matter of getting the invert tecnique down!

Do you mean the popcorn ceiling? It won’t cause much damage, but if worse comes to worse you can buy the spray on popcorn in a can for touch-ups!

    Hi,

So if I understand correctly, you couldn’t set up your Lil’ Mynx in 2 different places very easily? I spend about 1/2 my time at my house and 1/2 at by boyfriend’s house.

    Christine

You can definately set it up at another location. I have the vaulted ceiling mount in my living room, and a regular mount outside connected to my patio cover. All I do is move my pole outside, lower it a lilttle bit and connect it to the outside mount. It’s great! I also love that it is one piece. When I have to take it down real quick the whole length of the pole (10′) fits great behind my couch to conceal it!

Hi! I have a Lil Mynx pole and I LOVE it! I have had no problems with it at all. I have a 50mm spinning/static stainless pole. It is the only brand pole I know that works with a vaulted ceiling, which I have. It is removeable. It does have a bolt that goes in a ceiling joust. When you take down the pole (very easy to do), it leaves the mount in place, but is covered easily by what looks like a plant hook. Most the girls on here the X-poles and love them, but I love my lil mynx!
