Leesi from L’Ru Studios is on SV. There are 2 attachments available. The original is a neoprene like piece and there is a new one out specifically designed for X Poles that is made of metal.

  • And the reason I ask is that it is was one of their ambassadors, then the parent company NEEDS to know about this situation.

  • So just out of curiosity, was this actually Phat Buddha or one of their “ambassadors”? It looks like they are a fairly large company so to have personal phone numbers being used for business seems a little sketch to me.

  • What I wrote was not meant as a jab or to inflame anyone. I am quite surprised that I have gotten the reaction that I have. The language that was used accusing the vendor and making comment about the booth worker I felt was more rude than what I typed. Many of the comments people have made about other companies have been after they have made contact and the issue was resolved or not resolved.

  • I am sure that it was an honest mistake. All you need to do is contact your bank and file a dispute. They will place the money back into your account until the dispute is resolved. Posting on a semi public forum without all of the puzzle pieces is not the way to handle this.

TG is similar to brass but it really all depends on your body chemistry. Out of all of the finishes I think TG is the least finicky when it comes to temp and humidity.

I am playing Devils advocate here because I really don’t see a whole lot that she did that has gotten you so worked up. I am speaking this from when I used to be an instructor.

    1. Have you not been uncomfortable in the year+ at any time during your pole classes? Yes, we ALL need to get out of our comfort zones. Sometimes all it takes is letting your hair down. For some it is wearing shoes. For others it is dimming the lights. These are the things that help us get out of our heads and push past that plateau.
    2. Why *are* you so adamant about getting into level 7? I see these people all the time who place their “pole worth” on a level number.
    3. I don’t care who you are, pole is a journey and to have an instructor/owner recognize that and state that the two are not able to be separated is speaking the truth. What you wrote that she said is not out of the ordinary. She asked you to think about your journey and your *need* to be in level 7. From what you wrote she did not ask you to share that information.

Honestly I think this is just a clash of personalities and not something that she did horribly wrong.

Any body paint will work. The issue is that you will not have grip where the paint is applied. I have friends who have been completely airbrushed for an event and I have a friend who has used acrylics to paint designs on herself.

So how many people can you cram in your place? There has already been talk of putting bail money aside for this event from the Ohio/PA clan.

For portability I would highly recommend the X. It breaks down into 3-4 foot sections and has a bag. You can always buy different extensions to fit any ceiling. For someone who moves a lot this is probably your best option.

I beg to differ with the above comment, however the one combination that had been proven the most effective has been removed from market. All others that have mimic-ed it have also been removed.

Most fat burners have a combination of stimulant and appetite suppressant. There are studies that support their claims, but typically those are very different amounts than what companies add to their mixes. I go through cycles with them, not for the fat burning but for the energy. Sadly, many that are on the market now are a waste of money. Others make people jittery and then cause a crash; neither which are beneficial to most people.

The supplement game is not something where it is a one size fits all deal. I have been plying with it for almost 20 years and let me tell you, it can get expensive. I have a few things that I come back to when I get a bug up my butt or I feel a certain way for an extended time frame but I have found those are the things that work for me. I have a completely different set of items that I buy for my husband.

If you are looking for general information I might suggest going to a site like Swanson Vitamins. You can search a specific target and find supps that are supposed to help. Even the BB.com store site is pretty decent, just stay away from the forum as it is difficult to weed through some of the garbage that is there. It all comes down to experimentation, time and money.
