One of the big mistakes I see is people keeping their toes pointed when they walk. When the foot comes forward your foot should be flexed…..when we walk we land on our heels, not our toes.

If you are looking to rig poles you may need to get with ps or x as I believe they have different top pieces to attach to the cages. I do know that it is ridiculously expensive which is why so many go with stage poles for events.

Just a note, typically the emails from “paypal” are not actually from paypal but from a phishing scam that is trying to get your financials. I have had paypal for well over a decade also with different cards and my bank account attached and have never once had an issue with them. Not once. They are quicker to refund your money than most websites and they will go to battle for you. I much prefer sites where I can pay through paypal as I feel that is safer than giving a company my credit card info.

If you know the venue I would check with them first. Many times they have a company they have worked with in the past.

This is a good lesson that not all organic and “chemical nasty” free products work for every body. Ginkgo is known as an allergen, especially to those who have nut allergies and who are severely allergic to things like poison ivy and oak.
“Ginkgo fruit and pulp can cause severe allergic skin reactions and irritation of mucous membranes. Ginkgo might cause an allergic reaction in people who are allergic to poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac, mango rind, or cashew shell oil.
There is some concern that ginkgo leaf extract might increase the risk of bruising and bleeding. Ginkgo thins the blood and decreases its ability to form clots. A few people taking ginkgo have had bleeding into the eye and into the brain, and excessive bleeding following surgery. Now this is for taking it orally but PP does have ginkgo extract in it which can cause issues.
I also have an issue with their term “nature identical”.

I cannot even begin to count the number of times I have gotten a dress stuck on me in the fitting room! There is nothing quite like the panic of being unable to get out of a piece of clothing.

Pole while travel for me depends on duration of the trip, if I am with my husband and how far the studio is. I have poled more when travelling alone just because I usually want to keep myself busy in the evenings. When I am with my husband we go out exploring which I don’t do as much on my own.

Azblanco is in NOLA. I know there used to be I think 2 studios there but not sure if that info is still current. A friend of mine used to live there and teach but she has recently gone to NYC to train. Do you know what happened to the advanced instructors that you enjoyed? Some times management becomes too much for them to bear, sometimes they go to other studios, etc. See if you can track them down.
I will say it is hard coming back from an injury and dealing with what you used to be able to do and what you can or cannot do now. I am also not about the tricking. Can you talk to the owner and request more dancey type classes be added back to the curriculum?

Yes! There are a few here that have gotten bags with the XPole logo, it is SUPER easy to copy instructions and the X on the pole is engraved and has been showing up on some of the fake poles. The dome and the serial number are the easiest ways to know, that and XJoints. Many of the fake poles are threaded similar to the very first X’s that came out.
