Can you request that they have a beginner class and a non beginner class?usually if an owner knows that they may lose a student (or students) they will try to adjust.

It is helpful if you let people know your location. We have people from all over the globe here.

Hey! Are you taking classes at any of the Cleveland studios? I know all 3 carry a variety of products and you can typically try before you buy. Dry hands is probably the most popular (not a fan myself) but there are a ton of products out there. Tite Grip is an antiperspirant that you use regularly and I know a few that layer products. My personal favorite is a product called liquid grip which dries and gives tack at the same time. I do not have super sweaty hands though.

I have quite a few boyshort underwear that are cotton based that I wear for pole and honestly, it does not hold up as well as the synthetic fibers. It also shows sweat a lot more than synthetics and fades with washing. when I am buying shorts that are under $10 this is not so much an issue, but if I am spending what most pole shorts cost, I want those suckers to LAST.
If more manufacturers made front closure sports bras I would buy more online. There is nothing like getting stuck in your sports bras either trying to get it on or off (traps anyone??). I have ripped my share of stitching on sports bras and again, when they are typically $40 and up I am not going to be a happy camper ruining it the first wear.
While I would love to have stuff that matched most of the time I really don’t much care. The only time I do is if I was performing routinely and needed something that was matching.

Hotpants do not necessarily show off your butt.
Hooked, probably the best pole shorts I have ever worn are the Versa from AMB. They are a one size fits 0-12, which freaked me out a little and they look small when you get them, but seriously, they have full butt coverage, stretch, stay and do not give you muffin top at all.

I am having a hard time because this is a behavior that I just do not understand and cannot wrap my head around. Most of the time I can see others points of view and can give advice based on that but there is so much going on here that I just cannot process. Just know that I feel for you and if you were not married I would tell you to run.
I hope you find the strength that you need to find the peace that you crave.

The teach fabpole every year at Midwest on XStages. Fabpole actually even has a mount that is specifically made for xpoles. I know Leesi used to be on this forum. I have been away for a bit so I don’t know if she still pops in.

Where are you located? I know someone but she is in Cleveland, Ohio.

As always a video helps the most. Generally if you are rolling over your collar bone it is a technique issue more than a bony collar bone.
Do you have the same issue when doing a reverse shoulder mount (shoulder dismount)?

A really good rule of thumb is not to put anything into your routine that you have not mastered. Nerves and sweat ass a whole dimension to a performance and if an invert is not something you can do without having to concentrate on it then just leave it out right now. You will be less upset with a sexy performance than you will with possibly screwing something up. (I have been there and have watched it happen to so many people to so many people over the years)

Unless you want to put out the big bucks I would suggest finding something that works and then customizing it yourself. Liquid Stitch and Quick Grip are awesome for quickly putting something together that you don’t have to worry about going through the wash. It is what I use for pretty much any of my costumes.
