S Factor calls this a decending angel. Not sure if there is a name for it when hands are still on the pole.

I am also blessed with pretty good skin. I moisturize daily (currently using a cream I got from Sally called Beyond Belief Vita A) after my shower and that is about it. When I wear makeup I remove it with coconut oil and usually a face brush and Neutrogena bar or Cetaphil and then moisturize. I use a 2% salicylic acid acne medication along my hair line because that is where I generally break out. When I do break out worse (typically summer and usually my chin) I use Bye Bye Blemish, which is 10% sulphur and dries them up almost over night. I only exfoliate when my skin is looking drab.
During the summer I don't do much more but will use an astringent once in a while and tend to exfoliate more often.

All of the videos in the Sahramann series (I think there are 5 or 6)

Did the screw come out of the ceiling? On top of a drill and ladder get a level. It needs to be level from 2 sides. I also use a rubber oil filter strap to tighten mine….but of course I already have all of these things.

What kind of pole?
I would say that probably 95% of the people here put up there own poles.

I was not talking front leg in splits when wearing heels but rather your back leg. I want to say that most performers will have that back leg laying sideways on the floor.
Even on the pole this seems to be the norm, with or without shoes:

With the exception of gymnasts pretty much every photo I have pulled up on google images for splits has the back leg sideways on the floor.

Amy, I think there has been discussion about this in the splits progress thread where this technique of stretching was first brought up. It is the difference between "jazz splits" and regular splits. On the floor in shoes I really do not think you can do straight splits, if you are trying to get them for aerial work that is another story. I am just trying to get down far enough period and if jazz splits are the only ones I can do right now I will take those. Never in my life, even when I was in gymnastics as a child and a cheerleader in middle school, could I do the splits.

Amy…this is the way that is explained in the splits in 6 weeks, which is what I have been working on.
"The last of the six exercises you must do each day is of course the front splits because the only ay your body learns is by practicing, so the splits every day is what is required.
There are two ways of doing them you can either have the foot and knee of the back leg facing the floor or you can have the foot and knee pointing to the side and it is the second way that you should do them.
Why?
For three reasons, one being that if you choose the first method you place the back leg in a position were it automatically wants to bend at the knee and if your back leg is bent you can not do a proper full splits. This habit can be overcome through training but it is easier and quicker to adopt the foot to the side technique.
The second reason is simply that your back leg slides a lot easier with the foot pointing sideways than it does with the foot pointing down towards the floor as the toes tend to dig in to the ground and make it harder to slide.
And
The third reason is that when it is time to start practicing isometrics whilst in the splits position you will find it a lot easier to maintain your balance with the back foot pointing towards the side."

"Two main drawbacks are the coordination it takes to work the powerball and getting the ripcord (starting string) stuck inside the ball."
I have had this happen twice and it is a b*tch!! I will say though I have kind of learned how to start the ball without the string. I have not perfected the one flick start but can usually get it going with a few spins.

Someone else in Atlanta was looking for a pole recently and another here suggested hardcore poles. They are in Marietta but I see that their site is down.
