Not sure how long you have been on the site, but there has been talk about mats on a few occasions. If you search for crash mats you will get all sorts of ideas.

Invest in some arnica gel and apply right after your session. It really is a godsend! I have a nasty pole burn right now that should be black and blue but isn't because of arnica!

Just an update…I started this on Saturday and last night was the farthest I had ever gotten into the splits in my life. I dream of the day that my cooch touches the floor!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif
(seriously…I really do dream that I can hit the splits and the cold floor always surprises me)

Pole Dancing Shop has them for $149 plus $35 shipping but they are 4". I have not seen 5" thick mats, usually they are 2" or 4".

MemberJanuary 4, 2011 at 2:14 pm in reply to: What would you like to learn besides pole moves?Costume design, makeup and stage performance are 3 things I think are vital for any good performance. Look at how Jenyne changes her look with every routine. She also has a way of looking into the audience and making you feel that she is dancing just for you. Feklix has that same eye contact.
Not only learning how to do the moves, but where specifically to start them to get the correct angle for the audience.
Covering up mistakes.

Charley, I assume "sets" is "reps" in this case.
-
Specifically what kind of dancewear are you looking for?

I knew what you meant… I was just trying to see if any of my old forum tricks worked (before shortcuts became the norm).
-
Guess not…
OH….the preview too??

We don't have quoting functionality yet, I have to add it back in but for now you could cut and paste the quote and wrap it in normal quotes.
Just wondering if this works…..
-
Duh.
What about quoting?
I know…asking all sorts of questions here.
-
Thought that you used to be able to edit and also quote other's posts. I have the bad habit of reading something after the fact and realizing that I left out a thought or totally left words out of a post. I thought that functionality was there previously.
As for the red line….chrome does not have this issue with any other site. It will red line it but I do not have options to change it, only cut and paste. I routinely mess up th's (teh, otehr, etc) and it is caught with options elsewhere, and also on the old version.

It explains in the beginning pages that the splits they are trying to achieve are what is considered jazz splits, which is the only kind you can really do while wearing heels. It is with the back leg to the side.
Momma…the karate stance is basically this:

Pink…how are you holding you bottom hand? Your thumb should be facing up and you should be sitting on it.
