Pinky, It took almost 6month after I stopped birth control pills before the weight melted off of me. In 2 months I lost about 15 lbs and I was not doing anything different than what I had been doing all along. Everybody is different. For years I have lifted weights but did not really see huge differences until I started doing cardio (Zumba) regularly. I HATE cardio but have been able to stick with my Zumba classes because they are just so much fun. Stress will not help either. In times of stress our bodies hold onto fat….it is just how we are made.

For me it is an extension and a twist. I was taught to get used to straightening your leg first and then start moving your body away from the pole.

I was wondering if anyone we "knew" was in the video. I thought it was Jenyne at the end (good shot of her at 3:40 and 3:50) and I guess I was right. You cannot mistake her smile!

Went back through and watched the video and it looks like every single trick is Jenyne. Nice!!

Look for circus schools. I know that here outside of Cleveland we have a place called Jasmine Dragons that is teaching silks, juggling, pole and a bunch of other circus-y type things. I believe that there is a big circus arts school in NY also.

Yeah, I did not either until I had gotten some samples of Hyland’s Leg Cramp at the Arnold 2 years ago. After a little research I found that quinine has been used (and prescribed) for years. I have been out dancing and have gotten terrible toe or foot cramps and it really works miracles. Plus any bar or restaurant that you go to has tonic water!

I would seriously look at building your arms, shoulders and traps.

Is that second picture you or your "ideal"? If it is not you, you may not have the genetics to have an "hourglass" figure. I know I don’t and no matter how "skinny" I get, it will never happen.

Do you have a gym you belong to? I would get with a professional trainer and let them know your current workout and what your goals are and then go from there.

Instead of pointing your toes try pulling your heel to your calf. It really makes a difference in grip and the cramping thingy.

If you can stomach tonic water, bring this with you. The quinine in it is a homeopathic remedy for leg cramps and works almost instantly.

‘Cause if I could blink during a shoulder mount, look back in the mirror, and look like Wendy Muthaeffing Traskos, I would consider it a dream come true.

I only dream of having a body like hers. Or Fawnia…same boat

And she is not in pole but I have been in lust with this woman since I first saw her. There is so much about her that is incredibly cool and she is a Cleveland girl…Valerie Waugaman:

Shoulders and traps…they become broader then your waist looks smaller. And no woman will ever look like a man without taking steroids. We simply do not have the biochemistry to do such. Look at Estee and Jenyne and Becca….they are all built and have serious abs but I would never mistake them for men!

OK…so when is everyone getting into town? I know a lot of the Ohio contingent is not arriving until Saturday, what about everyone else? We are coming in on Friday. Changed our plans about bringing the motorhome and going to Priceline a hotel in the area.

On a similar note, I cried when I sold my first "real" car and also when we got rid of our first motorhome. The memories that were made in both of those vehicles will always be with me and it was difficult to part with both. Our new motorhome now has so many memories attached to it that I will probably be a blubbering idiot if/when we ever get rid of her.

It may just take a little longer to relearn. It seems like maybe you were relying more on "thigh size" than actual form to get the move on the larger pole. You also may nee to grab in a different part of your thigh. For CAR and plank, I need to have that pole really close to my privates in order for it to work.

Amy has many words of wisdom.

I will add….I know that recently you have been in a state of flux. Look at the move as a new lease on life and as a new beginning.
