Lol Pam is it bad I could tell by your lil minx pole? At least it was a pretty good assumption.

I had everything from Aretha to Eminem on there (I say had because I had to restore my pod about a month ago and I lost everything). What really works for me is rock and blues. Kid Rock and AC/DC….if there is a pole near by I will be on it. I am also a big "old" Prince fan but I have to be more in the mood for it. For just slinking around something like Lizz Wright-I Idolize You. I also have been wanting to dance to The Eagles-Those Shoes and Ted Nugent-Stranglehold but have not yet. I know my old instructor needed angry type music if she was trying to nail a new move and needed to get her adrenaline up.
A few good places for music are stripperweb and the S Factor forum.

Remember that NOTHING on the internet is secure. If you think that it may come back to bite you in some way in the future (think job interview) DO NOT post it. There is nothing that says you have to post here to track your progress, it is just as easy to keep it on your computer at home.
I have been poling over 2 years and just recently put some practices up here on SV. There are others I know that pretty much have never posted a video.
At some point in time he may become more comfortable but for right now it is really not worth it.

Can’t help you out with this one. I have a hot pink LM and for me many times it is too grippy. I am surprised that yours is so slippery.

Ummm….first you should not be doing ANY spins one handed to start!
We all started somewhere and I can tell you that each and every one of us sucked. This is not something where you just walk up to a pole and you instantly rock it! It all takes time and practice.

Here is the information for the Chicago Jam. I believe that the FB link is in there.

I could never do the chair until I saw somewhere that the bottom hand should be more facing up and used just to push yourself away from the pole. I have always had problems with full bracket anyway and even do my carousel half bracket.

Sissy…I wish that I was able to take pictures….went to a black light party a few months back. I bought the black light hairspray, which is clear in normal light and then blue/white in black light. I had my clear pumps, green/pink/white knee sox, white shorts, green bra and pink fishnet top. I had sprayed the hairspray into a cup and proceeded to paint myself (I have a black light at home). When the regular lights went off at midnight and they just had black lights I got up and poled. I GLOWED!!!!
Now we return to our regularly scheduled topic…..

I do not like them.
I will admit though that I have used close fitting nitrile gloves from work while trying new inverts but those are $6 a case of 100 and I could care less if they rip or roll. I have contemplated trying liquid latex but am not sure how durable that stuff is. I always thought it might be cool to paint some designs on your legs with it.
