A drop ceiling is what you see in a lot of offices. It is typically a metal grid with panels that fit into the grid. A false ceiling is the same thing. The metal grid is attached to the real ceiling by metal hangers.

You should have no problem. Really tall poles are nice to have 2 people but if you are talking the average 8-10 ft pole you should have no issues.

It took me forever to even try leaning back into a release because I was sure I was going to end up on my head.
I think I can do it on both sides but normally I cross left over right (because I climb with my right foot behind).

There is a free program called virtual dub that is REALLY EASY to use. I have the directions at home but there are a bunch of youtube videos out there also. It takes less than 30 minutes for me to compress a 10 minute video taken from my camera.
