What you are facing is typical for many pole studios opening. When Be opened she had the cops show up at her door on several occasions because people thought she had naked women running around and that is against code. Each time the cops were called she invited them in and showed them around. Eventually the calls stopped.
You have a contract with the landlord. He knew full well what you were and he had no issues with it. If you were able to get a permit to run your studio in the area where you have it then the landlord cannot do anything about it. Also since you have a contract he cannot do anything about it. If he continues to harass you or if any of these busy bodies continue to harass then contact either the police or the building department for your city. Worse comes to worse sue him for breach of contract, throw the money into an escrow account so that he cannot kick you out of your space and continue your business.
Practice saying: No, I will not change a thing.

The latest that has wowed https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif me has been some of Eike’s and Remi’s stuff. Eike’s shoulder mount to flag to shoulder mount flip thingy, his handspring where he just holds himself like he is a bent noodle (I cannot find that image online….it is amazing), his side stand between two poles in his latest with Remi and Remi’s inverted iguana/pencil hold….basically looks like he is just standing in mid air.

The first thing that dropped my jaw was a caterpillar climb. I just could not understand how you could climb upside down. This also took me over a year to get and was the move that I fell out of. I had the crunch up without issue but it took me forever to trust myself to let go with my legs. I also have this whole upside down over 6′ thingy that I am trying to work past. Although I think this past weekend I caterpillar-ed pretty high at a bar and did not freak out so maybe I am finally getting past it.

I have added the "decent" photos to my Facebook account. There were a few that were not so flattering and a few where some dude kept getting into the photo. Agggghhh. I have the photo album set so that only friends that are on my pole list can see them.

Plain old aloe vera gel is another non-greasy option.
As far as body washes go, I stay away from them during the winter months and instead switch to a high fat content bar soap. The stuff that makes body washes lather is what tends to dry out your skin.

I had an absolute BLAST (and I have the bruises to prove it!!). Can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures! Unfortunately Mr Chem was so busy watching us all and talking to people (ok….flirting) that he did not take a ton of photos. I am wearing jeans and bringing an outfit. I have a black t-shirt that I got in Amsterdam and turquoise short shorts (not totally ass bearing) and I am wearing my ribbon boots with turquoise ribbons (see the pics in my profile for the boots). I will probably also be bringing a black tank top just because sometimes a t is too much. Oh, and a towel, pole grip and my powerball.
