I want to see a vid to see what kind of problems you’re having with the shoes. I never realized wearing shoes made it harder.
I have had issues with my boots, not on inversions, but on landings and balance(handstands and such) since my feet are heavier.

For bodybuilding the typical minimum time is 48 hours, lots of protein and ample sleep.

I have found a lot of times that working out again takes the residual soreness away.

At one point in time Pole Junkies in Calgary had crash mats. I no longer see them on their website but it might be worth a call.

I will be at the club some time between 9 and 10. Not jamming earlier in the day just because we are doing some Arnold stuff and possibly North Market or German Village.

YAY…VV (wow that kind of looks like a big w), glad you are coming!!!!!!

The sweat trap factor sounds like it’ll be super fun, LOL. I am a sweater.

That is one of the main reasons that i only wear ankle high boots. The one pair of knee hi ones I own get uncomfortable but at least the sides lce up so there is some circulation. I also own a pair of leather thigh hi’s that I have had for YEARS that have been worn only about 5 times.

The cheapest one I have seen was $150 but it was only a 2" mat. The $199 one that is 4" is a good deal. Or you can try searching craigslist for gym mats. I have the foam floor mats as my first layer and then these huge pillows that I got at Big Lots that I use when trying new stuff.

My husbands b-day is the 13th.

Is there such a thing as a birthday cake shot?

I guess there is!! Does not sound like it would taste like chocolate cake but the reviews say that it does.

    Chocolate Birthday Cake Shot…

    1/2 shot Absolut® Citron vodka
    1/2 shot Frangelico® hazelnut liqueur
    1 lemon wedge

Mix equal parts Absolut Citron and Frangelico into a shot glass. Drink the shot, and follow it immediately by sucking on a sugar-coated lemon wedge.
