    Welcome!!

The best directory I have found so far is wikipole.org. It lists pretty much all the multiple names for moves.

Can you do a star (Jamilla calls it something else but it slips my mind)

It was not until I could get this no handed that I could get even the beginnings of a knee hold. For me the pole cannot be right it the pit of the knee…it has to be a little away and held more by the calf and hammie.

My first pole crushes were Karol, Veena, Symone, JK and Tarakarina. I remember seeing Felix’s 2006 video and thinking wow….just wow. A few years back there are not too many that posted on youtube but these are the ones I remember. I also remember the first time I saw someone do a caterpillar climb…it was CRAZY at the time (and now quite common). I also remember a video put out be Girlfriend Fun and Fitness that blew me away.

Now there are just soooooo many that inspire me. My only wish would be for Sarah/Joy to start posting videos again. I think she inspired so many polers and really changed the face of poling when it came to tricks.

I have really enjoyed watching the progression of the "big names".

Sissy…I am so happy for you. EVERY woman deserves a man who loves and supports her.

    Here is Felix’s.

I do not have Karol’s, but I do know in one of her latest videos she was in a backbend and her shoes started slipping from under her. She totally covered it. In Alethea’s performance at LA pole show she was twirling in an office chair and got herself totally dizzy. Most non-pole people would never notice these but for those of us who are "stalkers" we see when our favorites are not their norm.

Did you ever see Felix’s video where she slipped out of spatchcock and fell to the floor? It was her California Pole Dance performance (it is all over youtube). I honestly don’t know how she recovered from that! I have seen pretty much everyone slip during a performance….it is how well they cover it.

I have been meaning to go through my closet and this is the perfect opportunity for me to do it. You and I look to be of similar size. I would be more than happy to send the clothes to someone I know who really needs them. Wish I would have known about a month ago as I just got rid of stuff I had in bags since last summer. Please PM me through this site.

Hey.. they are finally getting around to voting on the photo submissions. I would love it if those of you on FB would vote for me. I am on the bottom of page 5 of the photos. It starts with me in all of my chemist gear doing a flag at work and ends on the top of page 6 with me hanging upside down on a vine while hiking this summer.

Yep…happens all the time. Only moves that I don’t have to think about work their way into my dancing. I have to be totally secure with a move for it to even get to that point.

Luvlee….there are a lot of places that are not listed on SW. There is a new bikini bar that opened up near me and they are not on. I have only seen ads for them on Craigslist and in Scene Magazine.

I ahve not been on there in a bit. I forgot how much info is there. Too bad I cannot access it from work….duh!

    GIMP!!!!!!

It is free and does pretty much everything that adobe does. There is a bit of a learning curve but there are tutorials out the wazoo for it.

I have done silhouettes and sparkly and all sorts of fun stuff with it. I have spent HOURS playing with just one photo.
