I think once they released videos there was a LOT of questions. USPDF had no transparency if I recall. NY is ridiculously expensive to hold a comp. Regulations have gotten stricter for insurance. I don’t understand how all of these other comps can exist without begging for money. I just cannot support this.

It all depends on your goals. I am not a fan of workshops at big events just because they usually pack a lot of people in and they are of all levels. I am not a “needy” person so while I can absorb the information I do not feel like I get a lot of hands on instruction. I mean seriously, there are 22 spots per 1 hour workshop. I also am not a trickster so if I were going to take any classes it would be flow/floorwork/sexy type stuff. But that is *me*. I can also say you should not try to take a TON of workshops. I know people who have injured themselves pushing too hard and ended up either out of money or having to just watch the workshop.

I knew you posted this without even having to look.

Wait, I see the message on the side but I still do not understand how you get access.

I don’t understand how that works. Nor do I see that it is going to be live streamed.

MemberApril 5, 2015 at 1:57 pm in reply to: my baby brother is on drugs what do we do.As a person who has been around lifelong pot smokers I can offer these little tidbits.
Some use it to cope with anxiety instead of taking prescription drugs. Some use it to cope with super active minds that just don’t shut off. Some use it to relax. Some use it to focus. And yes, some use it to escape. I personally would rather be around a person who smokes pot than someone who drinks.
There are people in my life that have smoked pot daily for 30-40 years who are great fathers, business people, CEO’s of companies, own their own companies, lawyers, PhDs….you name it. The founder of Progressive Insurance is an avid pot smoker. There are probably a lot of people that you know who also smoke but you just do not know it. I have worked with people who smoked every day before coming to work.
The effects of marijuana use are minimally destructive to our bodies and in some cases actually beneficial. Tobacco and alcohol are more worrisome. Also, there has not been a single OD case or death attributed to marijuana.
I will lastly add that there have been many times I wished my body processed it in a better way than it does as I know it would have helped me when I was dealing with some depressions and anxieties.

Both Hanes and Fruit of the Loom make them as well as many stores (Target, etc) and you can get them for less than $5 a pair. Another one of my favorites is from AMB dancewear. They are $20 a pair but are my all time favorite. They are one size fit all and look time but they stretch and don’t give you muffin top.

You should be able to put one of the foam puzzle piece type mat under the base with no issue.
As for 50 vs 45, there is a really big difference! I used to hate 45s but now love them. Leg hold stuff is easier on 50s but anything requiring your hands is easier on a smaller diameter.

Fabric.com has tricot for the best price. I ordered for a hammock but I am sure they have narrower than 108 available.

I have been at it for 8 years! I remember thinking what you are thinking….there is NO WAY I will ever be able to do that. Time and patience!

A shifting from side to side means it is not level. Are you using a level on 2 planes? (Level it one side and then shift the level 90 degrees and check that level)

There is a possibility that they are a discontinued item and have been sitting in crappy storage conditions for a while. You may be able to re-glue them.

I would say you are either not tightening it enough or you are not locking it into position properly.

When I learned twisted (way before I understood the damage I was doing to my shoulder) I started with my bottom hand just a few inches off the ground. Even working on cup grip my top hand is just slightly lower than shoulder height and my bottom hand is very low on the pole.
