Pole dancing shop I believe is owned by Laura Ashton who also runs spinny t bags and pole dance jewelry. To the best of my knowledge it is legit. But why not buy directly from XPole UK?

This is where training with a grippy pole or a ton of grip aid helps out. There is one other option but I am not sure I would go with it unless I had a lot of time to practice, and that is a product used in bowling called ultra slide. There is a very thin line with that product between the ball flying off your hand and the ball sliding but you still having grip. The best advice I have though is to work as much as you can on that pole prior to the performance.

It has gotten to the point where I take ibuprofen BEFORE I go to class. Natural Calm is a great magnesium supplement if anyone is looking to add Mg, you just need to be careful as too much will make you run for the bathroom. It is amazing what it does for your sleep quality.

That is only available in AU. I WISH they had it here in the states as I would be all over that!

  • I have seen this done and I think there are one or two on here that have done this also. Should not be an issue.

I don’t know how old you are, but I can say that the days that I don’t wake up sore are few and far between. It has gotten worse as I have gotten older and have come to terms with it.

Lil Mynx is probably the most reasonable of them all. Or if you can find a *real* used XPole. The three that are mentioned are the only ones that should be considered.

Is this instructor always like this or was she freaking out over the event herself and lashing out an unprofessional way? A five minute routine is difficult for ANYONE, let alone someone who is under the weather. Was she really accusatory or were her words out of concern and delivered improperly? How close of a relationship did the two of you have prior to this training? Had you ever asked her for advice on eating/training/etc for pole? There is a lot of information missing here before I go and say she was totally out of line for the way she behaved. I say this because I have told people to suck it up, made comment on their diet or lack there of, and have been a general bitch when I see that is what they need to hear/be told as a means of trying to snap them out of cycle of their own doing. Depending on their emotional state at the time they are either appreciative for the reality check or they think I am the worst person on the planet.

Sweet, Webby. I just never looked into it because a few taps is not a huge deal for me.

I think people want an easy button and are so used to having 50 million aps for everything under the sun. The only ones that I really use like a true ap are my banking and maps. I would not even consider facebook an “ap” as it is just different design for mobile devices, and I might add that I hate their mobile ap…..but I use it.

Quite honestly the lessons here are probably the best for conditioning properly and correct form. If I recall Veena is or was a PT and it shows in the lessons here. As for other resources, pole is so new that there are not really any guides. It encompasses dance, gymnastics, bodybuilding and so many other “sports” that it is often difficult to put it just in one classification.

When aps are designed properly it just makes it easier to access a site. Currently I have to access a browser then go to my favorites and then finally enter the site. I am sure there is probably a way that I can put a link on my phone that may streamline that but I have not explored that option. I will however say that there are a TON of really bad aps that I thought would make site access better but royally BLOW.

Most studios when designing their website grab stock photos off the internet to make their site look flashy. She probably just liked that picture and thought it was an advanced move without really putting much thought into it.
