OK…she has several pages of videos with chair routines on pretty much every single one.
Also check out videos by Rodney James Syaranamual and Flirty Girl Booty Beat.

Yep, looks like an inverted V variation.

The issue is that acrylic is not an easy material to stick to. If you are going to try to reglue the shoes you HAVE to rough up the surface of the acrylic before adding any glue. Have you ever tried gluing something to hard plastic or glass? That essentially what you are working with on most platforms. I have noticed though that with colored boots they seem to use a covered material as opposed to straight acrylic.

Corby, I did not know that they were still installing asbestos containing material all the way into 1996!! I have only run into it in a laboratory environment and in my girlfriend's old house (the insulation on her furnace ducts in the basement). That messes with my mind and I have no words for how screwed up that is!

I have taught. It was not easy. While I do not have a fitness certification I have a very good understanding of the human body and also have all of the books to take the certification. I also would never teach without having a basic first aid class and CPR training. So many people who started years ago are suffering now due to improper technique. I remember split grip holds years ago and people just coming onto forums and telling people to just push through the pain, it will get easier over time. You can talk to just about anyone who has been at this for over 5 years and ask about how things used to be done. It is really no different than going to the gym and having someone show you improper form for lifting or using any of the equipment. I think it is a testament here though that we all realize that there is so much more to pole than just setting up a piece of steel in your home and going at it. I even know a few strip clubs that are hiring instructors at their clubs because they want their girls not only to make money but to also not get themselves hurt!

There are numerous threads on here about becoming an instructor and teaching out of your house. First I will start that even simple spins are NOT in any way shape or form simple and you can do damage to your hands, shoulders and wrists if not taught properly. If you are not warmed up properly you can do even more damage. If you are doing anything that involves transfer of money from your home your home is open to being taken in a lawsuit. And I can guarantee you that your home owners insurance will not cover anyone getting hurt from you conducting what by all definitions is a business.
This is a good thread:

And quite honestly being in the MidWest you have one of the best sources of information which is Mary Ellyn Weissman from Empowerment Through Exotic Dance. https://www.studioveena.com/users/view/bc950dd0-d89d-11df-ab19-12313b090e12
If anyone can give you advice on all of the legalities of teaching she would be the person to talk to.

Is this the concrete type asbestos that they use in benchtops and hoods? To my knowledge unless you house is really really really old you should not have any asbestos that is easily able to be broken apart. If you do then you have more issues than worrying about your XPole. If this is the fiberglass looking type asbestos then you should not be drilling into it in the first place and I would not install anything on it. Period. I would not even work out in that room.

MemberAugust 12, 2013 at 2:26 pm in reply to: Wall Street Journal addresses pole danceLet me start this off by saying that I fully understand why KT is going in this angle. She is the one pushing to get Pole into the Olympics and I am sure that she has set in meetings that have pushed the exact agenda she speaks of in this article. BUT, the fact that I understand it does not mean that I agree with it. The thing that bothered me I think the most was the naming. Ice skating has not changed the name of camel spin because it sounds sexual; hell they have not changed ANY of the names of their moves. Same with gymnastics and probably every other freaking sport that it out there. Out of every single thing, this is the part that pisses me off the most. We have enough issues with five names of the exact same move, now you are going to call it FM10 and so forth?? That is just absolutely ridiculous.
There is always going to be the for and against this approach. This is the same reasoning that I care not for the 10 year old girl who competed. Is she talented? Yes, she is amazing. However that is not dance to me. That is not pole to me. That evokes no emotion whatsoever for me. Jut like I can watch gymnastics and appreciate the skill that it takes, I can also state that I have never been moved to tears watching a gymnastics routine. I prefer to be moved by a performance.
How many of us go to gymnastics/cheerleading/dance recitals/competitions for pleasure? Probably not a single one of us. However I can pretty much guarantee all of us have seen Cirque or the ballet. KT is trying for the former, the majority of us are trying for the latter.

What many do not understand in the beginning is that pole climbs are probably 70-80% legs and the rest arms. People want to try to pull themselves up with their arms as opposed to pushing themselves up with their legs.

Do you have a strong solid invert? What helped me a lot was to V first and then bring my legs to the pole. If your legs are straight you will get your knee higher on the pole. It also helps to have a VERY strong inverted crucifix/bat hang. That way you know you can hang on with your legs and position your hands wherever with no fear of falling off the pole.

There is nothing worse than "what ifs" and regrets in life. We only live truly when we take risks.

Funtasma is a line that is made by Pleaser.

Mine were a mystery. I bid on them on ebay and thought they were maybe 7's until they arrived!

I am 5'8" and just bought my first pair of 8 inchers! Up to this point most of my shoes/boots have been 6-6.5" inch heels, which I think is a decent height to start with. Amber is 5'10" and rocks out shoes occasionally, Veena herself is 5'8", and I think Allegra is pretty tall.
Here is a thread with a bunch of tall ladies here on the forum : https://www.studioveena.com/forums/view/501d79df-e024-4fc1-96f1-02bb0ac37250
