I would never teach at a studio that I had not attended just because I want to know if my style would fit in with what the studio's style is.

I am one who likes muscle tone.  There is nothing more ewwww than hugging another female who is just all mush.  I will take curves on top of muscle tone over skinny fat any day.

That said, I feel it is more important for you to feel good about yourself.  When you are happy it leads to a better relationship.  We are always telling women not to change (stop poling, etc) for their significant others unless it is something they are on board with.  But I can also see if you have gotten too thin he may not like that.

Does he want you to gain weight for his own personal insecurities?  Does he think you are too hot and he has not kept up?

My hubs is the same as Lyme's.  He has seen me over 170 and under 150 and on my body that is a big difference.  I will say though that no matter what my weight, I know that our sex life is better when I feel good about myself.

Prior to pole getting as popular as it is now one of the best lotions out there was Corn Huskers.  Even is basically just glycerin and water.  While I give kudos to the people from Pole Physics, there is no way I would spend $25 for lotion.

Talk to Matt.  I think the newest pole he has at the studio is a LM Pro.  There was a discussion a little while back on Ohio Peace and Pole.  I will tag you in it so you can go back and read what he had to say.  You can also take a ride out there to check it out.

JB, I can tell you that the ones that I bought are not tight in any way. My thigh is about 19 inches in circumference where they sit.  They may stretch a smidgen more than that, but probably not by much.  The ones I have are very much like the discount dance ones  but in black.  They do not come up to my crotch but only about mid thigh.  Maybe if I was shorter they would.  Part of that 36" is the part that slips over your foot.

Those shoes are made for worship, not to wear.  HOWEVER, Karol did a routine in a modified pair of them.

You will never get in trouble with a company or seller if you speak the truth.  As always it comes down to quality and safety.  There are only a handful of pole manufacturers out there that are properly constructed and stand behind their product.  It is always cheaper to buy quality the first time.  If they stay with pole they will end up buying something better, and if they don't stay with pole they will be able to resell the pole for nearly what the purchase price was.
